"We used this car park when going on holiday recently and found it to be perfect in every way. It was close and convenient to the airport, booking and access was easy and I would recommend it to anyone."September 19, 2011
"It would be useful if directions to the customer desk at the check in area were included on the confirmation e mail sent to car owners -- This is for those users who have failed to read the instructions on the email(Myself included) Also Highlighting these instructions on the email (with coloured print) would be an additional help."September 19, 2011
"The car park was easy to access although I would recommend there being some luggage trollies. It was quite a distance with a heavy bag. Other than that, perfect!"January 29, 2008
"This car park was really easy to find and not far at all from the terminal building although it was a wee bit confusing getting there from the carpark until we realised we had to go to the train station then up and over the road to get to the building."January 11, 2008
"Wasn't the closet car park, as expected, but still worth the cost."January 8, 2008
"Very well situated, just a short walk through a covered walkway to the airport. There is also a coutesy bus to the terminal building, but was quicker and warmer to walk if you can."January 4, 2008
"All worked well, car park close to terminal, price acceptable. Thank you"December 30, 2007
"Car Park 3 at Prestwick Airport is excellent. Easy access and no waiting for courtesy bus. I use it ver often as I travel to Dublin 4 or 5 times a year."December 27, 2007
"No problems parking. Entry and exit using the credit card that used to make the online booking was OK but I am glad that I remembered to bring it.
The only down side is that it is a bit of a trek from the Airport Building to the car park but at least one is under cover for all but the last part of the walk."
"Car park 3 was easy to find and easy to get in and out. short walk over the bridge, however on the way back there was a parcel lying on the bridge over the railway which does not say much for security at Prestwick Airport. We had a 04.10am check in on the way out and checking through our baggage found nothing open till 5am and the security gate was not opened till this time either with nothing to say what time it did open. This resulted in a huge 'Q' by 5am, Again security is brought into question as two people walked through the half open secuity sliding door and wandered about unchalenged for a good 10 minutes. Parking was fine but airport security and facilitys at airport even worse than the outer hebrides."December 18, 2007
"Excellent facility close to airport terminal. Have now used car park 3 (mid stay) 5 or 6 times"December 5, 2007
"The car park is just across the road from the airport so is really handy. The covered bridge and walkway take you straight into the airport check-in area which again is really handy. The night we left the car there the pavement leading from the carpark to the station, where the covered walkway begins, was blocked off and we had to walk over the grass- it was a wet night so not so good. We could have gone back and taken the other pavement and crossed the road but there was no sign to tell us in advance that the pavement was blocked so we just carried on. Not a major difficulty, just a nuisance."December 4, 2007
"I booked for this car park thinking it would provide quick and easy access to the terminal......how wrong could I be!! I cannot fault the booking & payment service, however the hassle to get into the terminal building ruined my experience. Could you not just have a pedestrian crossing from the car park to the terminal? I have trouble with steps due to arthritis in my back and hips, I was almost in tears getting to and from the airport. Not an experience I would ever wish to repeat."November 29, 2007
"Car park is a good five minutes up and over bridge walkway. There were no trolleys to wheel luggage but that wouldn't have mattered because the lift wasn't working anyway. After a week away we returned to find that it was exactly the same.Definitely not for the elderly or frail!!!!"November 27, 2007
"Excellent with no problems. Only comment would be that it is a long walk from the back of the car park to the covered walkway.........especially if it is raining!"November 20, 2007
"Parking was easy and convenient for the airport. More expensive than parking in a more distant car park, but worth it on this occasion."November 18, 2007
"Fine - good service - clear instruction thanks"November 16, 2007
"Easy to find although signage is misleading. Docmentation states mid stay car park whereas sign at entrance states long stay.
Only spaces available were at south end of car park which entailed lengthy walk to terminal (no bus available).
Staff at ticket validation desk in airport foyer very cheery and helpful.
Reasonable value for money."
"Carpark 3 is very handy for the airport - you do not require a shuttle which, in my book means it is more effecient. A short unprotected walk to the train station where you access the covered walkway to the terminal is the only minor issue as you would get wet if it was raining but that for me is a minimal inconvenience and is far outweighed by the the fact that no shuttle is necessary."November 12, 2007
"We flew to Pisa from Prestwick recently and used Car Park 3 (Mid Stay). This car park is adjacent to the airport which is accessed via a covered walkway. A credit card in used to enter/leave the car park which is very easy. It's an excellent stress free system that we will definitly use again"November 7, 2007
"Exremely convenient, but affordable only because I had 4 people in my car. Credit-card entry/exit worked a treat."November 6, 2007
"Great location, easy to book and easy to find ...all in all a good experience"November 6, 2007
"Car park satisfactory. Chosen as flight very early morning and travelling from Dunfermline and could not be bothered with the hassle of using one of the off sight cheaper car parks. Very handy for airport - couple of minute walk."October 29, 2007
"This car park lies across a busy main road from the airport terminal building . Access can safely be made to the terminal building via an overhead walkway and the transfer time is about seven to ten minutes depending where you park your vehicle and the weight of your luggage! The car park is busy in the working day and some delay may be experienced trying to locate a space. Available spaces are apt to be quite far from the entrance barrier to the car park and for this reason I would not rate the car park as the best. If you have prepaid the car park then all that is required on arrival is the insertion of the credit card that you used on booking and the same procedure is used on departure. I understand a kiosk is availble in the airport terminal for those who have not prepaid. Prepayment is best- it saves a little on the car parking costs, and speeds up the entry and exit process."October 25, 2007
"I have used this car park several times and find it both easy and most accessable for the Airport"October 23, 2007
"There were no complications at all. It was simple and straight forward. The shuttle bus arrived on time providing a fast and efficient service. I recommend the service to car park 7 at Prestwick airport to everyone."October 22, 2007
"overall good experience.credit card entry and exit very easy. Not too far to walk to airport but with lots of luggage on way back you have to use the stairs or a small lift so be prepared for that.Much better though than waiting on shuttle buses and transfers."October 22, 2007
"Parking was fine and we got in and out OK, some probelsm getting machine to accept credit card. Pity we couldn't get nearer the airport for dropoff as with 2 young children and 4 bags it was an issue for my husband getting in and out car park 1 within 10 allocated minutes, would be even more off a problem had it been peak times or you were elderly."October 21, 2007
"was better than using a shuttle bus, but still a bit far to walk with suitcases & small children"October 21, 2007
"Convenient and quick. Drop your passengers at the drop-off point and meet them in the check-in queue.
However it is comparatively expensive; and the security is a bit suspect as it is unmanned and has open foot access."
