"The whole operation just seemed a muddle - much easier to just park your car and get the courtesy bus back to the airport.

Also had to make three phone calls and wait up to half an hour in the bitter cold and snow on our return on Saturday evening, as the wrong car was brought initially - we could have been home by the time the car was brought. Probably won't bother again.

"The drop off and return of the car was prompt and efficient.

When the car was returned to me at the airport the trip computer had been reset and the traction control switched off. The driver left the car with bearly a word and walked off. My wife phoned the car park to ask why the trip computer had been tampered with, no difinte reason could be given, only a speculative guess that the car may have been jump started. It was evident from the thick layer of snow in the bonnet of the car that the engine had not been jump started that morning or for some time previously.

If there was the possibility that the car had required a jump start this information should have been passed on to me at the handover, I could have stopped at the next fuel station and not been able to restart the car putting me in an embarassing situation. Similarly the reason for switching off the traction control should have been communicated for my information especialy on a day when all the news reports were reporting driving conditions as been hazardous due to the heavy snow at the time."

"Newcastle Meet & Greet does exactly what it says on the tin, we were met at the airport by a very jovial gentleman ( 04:15 am) who helped with our luggage and explained what to do on our return.
On our return , met by by a young gentleman who helped put our luggage in the car.
All in all a excellent service well worth the money."

"I can't recommend the Meet and Greet service enough. It's the second time I've used the service and the most stress-free way of travelling. I was met at my car as soon as I arrived at the airport and my luggage was lifted out of the car for me. I only had to cross the road to reach my destination.

On my return, I was instructed to telephone Meet and Greet, after collecting my luggage, to inform them I was ready. However, on this occasion, they were 25 minutes late returning my car, but I take some responsibility for that because I'd chosen to book on the flight with hand luggage only, which meant I didn't have the usual waiting time for my case and I could walk straight through, but I hadn't informed Meet and Greet of that.

Perhaps they should ask the question on arrival or at the time of booking but otherwise, an absolutely perfect service with really friendly, helpful and polite staff."

"Efficient service. Then only thing you need to change is the instructions for collection of car as you state to phone when in baggage collection but was told to phone again once outside. To save phone calls advise clients exactly when to phone."

"We were very impressed with the service offered. Someone was at Newcastle Airport very quickly to collect our car on arrival. When we came back there was a delay in our baggage coming through which meant we were later getting out of the airport than anticipated and our car was already waiting for us. The man who brought our car back was extremely friendly and loaded our cases into the car for us. We would definitely recommend this service to anyone travelling from Newcastle Aiport and we will certainly use it again."

"On arrival at Newcastle aiport we were told that we didn't have meet and greet and should have gone to the car park, this was incorrect.

On returning to Newcastle airport after our holiday we were met by a very grumpy driver in a minibus and taken to Callerton car park with 6 other people. We noticed immediately that our registration plate was missing off our vehicle. The grumpy driver wasn't the least bit interested in this and said it must have dropped off on our journey up from Leeds. He then refused to give us his name and drove off to pick up some more passengers. On opening the car door we found our registration plate left on the front passenger seat. I would not recommend this company to anybody and feel as if I have paid for a service I didn't receive."

"Sirs,

The service provided was OK. It did what it says on the tin. The car was collected on departure, and was there on return (although it was locked, with no sign of the keys, but a wait of 2 minutes before your representative arrived was acceptable).

What did disappoint me was the fact that the front of the car, below bumper level, was covered in grass which had dried onto the car. Clearly the car had been parked in a field for two weeks. I expect the car to be returned in the same condition as it was left in your care, and this was not the case.

I have not had this experience with other providers of the service (which adds enormously to the value of a holiday and I happily will pay for).

Your comments on this would be appreciated, but if you decide not to respond then I shall not use your service in the future, simply because of the nuisance of having to go to a car wash and having the grass cleaned off the car.

"Easy to use and fairly efficient service - told to call when 30 mins from airport then told to ring again when nearer not sure what point it serves but the driver arrived shortly after we were at the airport - similar on return journey told to ring when in baggage reclaim but then told to ring once we were out but they arrived within 5 mins or so - have a 11 month old baby and that's the main reason we used this service so we knew she would be in a secure car seat and saves getting them in and out of a minibus or a long walk to the long stay carpark - would use them again without hesitation - drivers friendly and helpful"

"The service was excellent. When they collected my car they were on time and were very pleasant and kind. When i returned to collect my car they were just on time. Very cheap service. The only disadvantage is that i cannot know where my car was parked, how safe was it."
