"I booked the shuttle parking on the 31/08/2010 fot the dates from the 6th September to the 1st October as we were going to the USA.I belived that by 'pre booking' a parking space and paying up front I would at least be able to park at the shuttle car park. How naive.On arriving at the shutle car park on the said date I along with many others was informed the car park was FULL.So much for a pre paid parking space! We were all directed to the terminal 1/3 long stay car park where there were spaces.Such trusting souls!On arrival it was obvious that this car park had NO available spaces and the only way to find a space was it look for holiday makers returning to their cars follow them and wait for them to exit the car parking space!This whole episode reduced the time we had allowed between arriving at the shuttle car park to checking by 75%.Further more during our search time we saw no shuttle buses and ended up walking to T3 with our luggage time.I believe the on line booking does not take account of the number of parking spaces it sells but is just there to generate cash for the airport. Would NOT use it again without some gaurantee that I will get the parking space I had paid for!"October 5, 2010
"I arrived at car park onlt to find the car park full. i WAS TOLD TO TRAVEL TO THE LONG STAY CAR PARK, which I had just drove past. I was given a ticket to present in the barrier when I returned. It all went smoothly"October 4, 2010
"Great service, regular bus pick ups totally hassle free parking. I used the shuttle park for 3 days whilst on a business trip. Great value parking - easy to find and only 5 mins on the shuttle bus to the airport. Will certainly be using this car park again."September 30, 2010
"Easy to find, hassle free. Parked vehicle, walked to pick up point and bus arrived within 5 minutes. Pleasant driver, made us aware of drop off points and where to go for the return journey. Bus was clean with space for luggage etc... easy access. Leaving the car park was easy too. Quick access to M62. Would definately use again."September 29, 2010
"Excellent service. I was lucky as the bus was just arriving at the bus stop at the same time as me on way out, so i was at the terminal 15 min after parking up! On way back, had to wait 15min for the bus and then the transfer took longer because I had to go through all terminals before heading for the car park, but I guess I can't be lucky every time. Staff were very friendly and helpful (I was travelling alone with a 10 months old baby and staff helped me with my luggage). Will definitely use again!"September 27, 2010
The car park was absolutely packed . problems in overbooking????The bus could not go to dropoff sites and one had to walk to car ( raining?)
Otherwise site is good when overbooking and wrongly parked cars - problem can be solved.
"Good signing led us straight to the Manchester Shuttle Park. The bus connection was very efficient both out- and in-bound. The only problem was that the park was extremely busy - many drivers had parked outside marked bays and consequently the shuttle bus could not negotiate the road around the park. This was understandable but begs the question - why was there not a sign on entry to say that the bus could only pick up and drop down at the car-park barriers? One could miss a vital bus by waiting at one of the other stops in blissful ignorance!"September 24, 2010

"Directions to the parking were simple and easy to follow. I don't think it was clear that you needed to take the card you paid for it on with you although luckily I had it on me.It appeared oversubscribed as the buses were unable to travel through the car park due to parking outside of allocated spaces. This meant dragging cases to the entrance. This was worse on the return journey as at 3am with a cranky 3 yr old you want to be straight off home!!Other than that I would say it was easy to find,use and only a short distance from the airport."September 21, 2010
"This was a total mess carpark was full sent to long stay terminal 2 this was full had to leave car on grass verg I suggest they get a proper computer system. Not one that the goverment use. How can they take bookings when they know that the park is full. I will make sure all my friends and relatives never use this car park."September 21, 2010
"This was probably the 5th or 6th time we've used Manchester Shuttle Park - it's our preferred choice. We've always found it to be the most reliable and secure of all the Manchester airport car parks. The staff - including the bus drivers - are always couteous, apologising when they're unable to collect or drop off at the bus stops because of inconsiderate parking by some users. Although not a problem for my husband and myself, we do think this could be an issue for elderly or disabled passengers. Perhaps warning notices could be left on the windscreens of those inconsiderate drivers cars that park outside normal parking bays"September 20, 2010

"I have used this carpark on several occasions but this time it was dreadfull. There were cars parking on the road blocking the shuttle bus service from picking up passengers. The car park was overly busy near the entrance, instead of cars being made to move from non car parking spaces to actual car park spaces towards the back of the car park we found ourselves constantly avoiding dumped cars. In the future why does'nt the airport allocate a number to each car that corresponds with a car parking slot."September 16, 2010

"we have used this Shuttle Park at Manchester Airport many times, and have always been pleased with the service that we receive, only would it be able to re-introduce tickets at the barriers to allow us to exit, this time we were asked for our booking reference,only for us to take ages trying to find it amongst our holiday suitcases as we did not know that this would be asked for again, had it been a ticket or such like we would have kept it either in our purses or wallets so as not to hold up other cars waiting in line to exit. but still a great place to park within easy access of the airport. P.S. Why don't the buses go all the way around the carpark anymore, had quite a walk from the entrance to the car. Thankyou."September 13, 2010

"Goood service especialy when coming back late at night the bus was waiting for us. Easy entry and exit to car park when using the pre-paid service by just putting your payment card in the machine.

"I have used this car park on several occasions, however when we went on sunday, our flight was at 6:30am, we arrived at 4am at the shuttle bus however after 30 mins realised the shuttle bus doesnt go arounnd every stop in the car park and stays stationary at the main entrance, hence making it more of a stressful event with a four year old in tow. What I dont understand is to why it doesnt go around every stop????? When we were dropped off after the holiday this happened again and dropped us off at the main gate and doesnt stop at the other stops, making a tiring journey even more tiring- if you park miles away. I would like an explanation as feel we are not getting the full service. Thanks"August 26, 2010

"I booked Manchester Shuttle Park because I didn't want the hassle of parking within T2 long stay, because I’ve been in it before and had to park half on half off a pavement because this was the last spot available in it because it was chocka block full!
YET, when I turned up at Shuttle Park something I'd had booked for 4 moths I was re-directed to T2 long stay because Shuttle Park was full! It took me 40 minutes to find a proper parking spot!! Very very disappointed"
"On arrival at the car park we were informed it was full, given we had allowed plenty of time this didn't create too much of an issue as we were upgraded to a car park nearer the airport.
If I had of been on the last minute this could have created some unnecessary stress. Given I booked on line, I would have hoped to have had an email or text before to warn me of the problem."
"I was impressed with speedy booking service and grateful for the provision of driving directions. The carpark was busy but the service was very efficient...even when my credit card wasn't recognised by the barrier machine. The staff were very helpful and polite. I was travelling alone with two children under 14, one of whom had a sprained ankle on the return journey, and the shuttle driver offered me assistance with luggage both on and off the vehicle...very impressed...thank you for a great service will definately use again."August 21, 2010
