"We were told to ring 10 minutes before arrival. We actually rang 20 minutes before we got there. We waited for about 15 minutes then rang and was told that we he was on his way and would be there any minute. After another 20 minutes we rang again and was told that they didnt even know that we were waiting as the night shift had finished and not told them that we were there.
We then waited that another 20 minutes as the driver was delivering at a different terminal.
This delay caused us to be late for checking in and therefore were unable to get the seats on the plane that we wanted.
It would have been quicker and cheaper to park the car ourselves. We have used this service at Stansted, Gatwick, Heathrow and Leeds Bradford and at Manchester before with other companies and not had any problems
We are very dissastisfied with this service and will not be using this company again"

"We were met punctually on our arrival at Manchester for the outbound flight. However, on our return the service was very poor. We rang the appropriate number twice, with about a fifteen-minute interval in between. Each time the call was answered by an answering machine, and we left a message. We expected these messages to be picked up and dealt with, so we hung around in the cold at the meeting-point expecting the car to appear. After a further quarter of an hour, when nothing had happened, we called again. This time the phone was answered by a person who knew nothing about our earlier calls. I had to tell hime twice that we had been standing at the meeting-point for the best part of half an hour and could they please bring the car. They then took a further 10 minutes to bring it. In all, we were waiting in the cold for significantly more than half an hour. We would definitely have been better off paying less and using one of the closer car parks, served by a shuttle.
My rating would have been a 1 (i.e. worst) but for the fact you have to give them some credit for getting it right on the outbound leg."

"Very good service, nice people. My only concern is that the car is parked in a secure, but public car park. Therefore, if someone parks next to my car and bumps the door then I have no way of complaining against the Valet. "A truely awful experience from start to finish! Firstly we had to wait over 40 minutes to be met which meant us endlessly circling the airport. Their excuse was they were busy! On our return it got worse. We were supposed to be met at 10pm but after 3 phone calls and more busy excuses they didn't get to us till 10.45pm which was terrible as were travelling with a 5 year old who was already tired and to cap it all my husband saw our car arriving, we went out to meet it to find the chauffeur had already put another family and their luggage into our car and had not asked for conformation or his name!!! We didn't leave the airport till after 11pm and i am still very angry and upset by the appalling service. I would never use this company again and will make sure that none of my friends, family or colleagues do so. I have complained to customer services but have yet to recieve a reply"November 25, 2007

On our return samething happened only it was early hours of the morning and an even worse wait. Wouldn't use them again"

"The 'Meet and Greet' service provded by Meteor was easy to use, and very efficient. We made the call when we were 10mins away from the airport and by the time we had unloaded the cases at the agreed meeting point, the driver was there within a few minutes to take our car away. After a quick signature we were on our way.
The same service occured when we returned, even though our flight landed half an hour early. I can fully recommend this efficient, time saving and cost effective service as a serious alternative to off site parking, particularly if you are returning on a flight landing in the early hours of the morning."

"Traffic delay on way to Manchester airport, rang office to advise, all lines blocked. Eventually given 20 minute slot to arrive in. When we turnrd up at the meeting point (13th Floor Short stay carpark as per documents) there was no greeter. Rang again to confirm arrival, Greeter turned up after a short while and said we had wrong information. No other issues. Standing for so long waiting after customs on return would have been bad if it had been wet."November 4, 2007
"to my amazement and disgust no one turned up to collec the car. My arrival was later than predicted but I got no call from the collector. When I tried to call all I got was voicemail. Imageine the situation- tmie pressing to check in, baby in the car (hence using meet & greet to take out the hassle)no sign of anyone or evidence of the company (information supplied directed me to the top of the short stay car park)
Had to pay AGAIN for long stay parking and only just made the flight. Have yet to raise this with the company but I am now back from my trip and will do so.
There is not a bargepole long enough to suggest you touch this company."

"This was the first time I has used the system and I really could not fault it. The staff were helpful and friendly and yes there was a few minutes wait to hand the car over and to get it back again - but this was far less than had I had to find other transport. It was also cheaper than leaving my car at the airport.
I would recommend that anybody travelling going to the airport in a car give this company a try 0 it really works and you know your car is safe - along with your car keys!! (We rtavelled with somebody who lost theirs on holiday this year so heaven help them when they got home)"
