"Our parking experience was pretty good thanks, just a couple of points. We found the phone quite difficult to locate in crowded terminal 1, especially when tired after a long flight, and delays with luggage. We were not aware that the bus pickup was back at terminal 2, the voice on the phone was polite, but rather quick in giving the information, and I had to phone back. He also said that the lift was opposite WH Smiths, it is not, it is outside the terminal. Perhaps a couple of simple maps would be an idea, with the tickets etc."

"Good + fast entry and exit procedures. Easy to find and close to airport.
The wait for the bus on our return was excessive(20mins) since the car park is only 3 mins from drop off.
The bus drop off point is a very very long walk from the terminal which we found ridiculous since there is a drop off point at the terminal. We estimate it took us 10 minutes with luggage.
I think this is the same for all the parking companies, but this would put me off using Manchester airport altogether."

"I thought the pick uppoint could have been better organised. It was a bit of a free for all to get on the bus. perhaps some way of getting people to form a queue!!! Other wise no problems

why cant you go nearer the terminals I noticed taxis were allowed to."

"Arrival at car park ok however we arrived back in the Uk at 3 pm on a sat afternoon. There was a massive queue of people at the pick up point, we waited for more than 15 minutes and then the driver crammed as many people on as he possibly could. Other people had to wait for him to go round and come back. We will not be using this service again."

"The staff were polite and helpful, the facilities were fine and so I could not fault the service.
However, the current security arrangements mean that the bus has to drop off at the railway station.

Because of having to negotiate this with two kids and suitcases it meant that the overall experience was not as good as it previously had been. I d appreciate this is out of your control but it seems silly that private cars and taxis can drop off and pick up nearer to the terminal but your regular buses cannot."

"My recent 14 day parking at flyaway at Manchester
airport went ok with nothing to moan about.The only
thing Iwould say is that being a stranger to the
airport I had some difficulty in finding Flyaway car
park as there wern't any signs posted once on the
airport I had to stop and ask directions a couple of
times.Do you have any restrictions on placing signs
on the airport? no doubt,now iv'e been there i'll have no such bother in the future and would be quite happy
to use your park again.a bientoh."

"The service received on arrival at the park was excellent the man on the dest was very helpful. Unfortunately we had to wait in the cold drizzle for at least 20 mins. There were lots of other people also waiting for the bus. We saw 2 buses park at the entrance and when they eventually came it was very full. On our return we didn't have to wait very long and were soon back to our car."

"Very easy to find,quick check in. Waited about 10 mins for bus to Terminal 2 but some others had waited a while longer. Good direction to termial from drop of point and collection point on return. Picked up within 5 mins on return. Car park was good surface and looks secure. We saw a patrol doing his rounds at 2.30am so will use this park in future."

"I have used this service about 5 times to date, from before it changed to q park. it is easier to check in at the window , than when you used to park up and book in with the office.It is much less convenient being dropped off at the rail terminal,than being dropped at terminal 2 as it is quite a long walk with cases and bags!!! Also the price has steadily rose to the point where it is not much more expensive to park for 1 week and having the use of your own car, compared with the cost of a taxi, but to park for 2 weeks is just not worth it compared with having a taxi door to door."

"This is the second time I have used this car park. Both times it has been excellent. The waiting time for pick up to and from the airport has always bee less than 15 Minutes

"The car park was easy to find, the staff were friendly and helpful (the bus driver helped us on and off the bus with the suitcases) and the transfer to the station was only a few minutes. I would happily use this site again."

"I always tend to use QPark as it is the nearest to T2. Since being operated by Qpark the site has improved a lot (used to be lots of muddy puddles everywhere) but now has clean shale down.Check in service is very efficient. Bus service is good. Maximum wait I have had at terminal pick up is 7 minutes. One change brought on by security restrictions - now only drop off and pick up at central station, so quite a walk along the walkway to the terminals."

"Qpark and their staff were excellent. Very efficient reception. Plenty of parking spaces. Speedy bus service and very little hanging around. We have used them many times. However the drop off point at the station is miles away from departures and arrivals. Be prepared for a long walk with your cases, negotiating stairs,lifts,escalators and autowalks that do not work.I would recommend anyone with walking difficulties, lots of luggage,buggies, young children etc. get the driver to drop them at departures before parking the car. One person hopping on and off the bus is far easier than manhandling luggage, kids etc. Manchester Airport is a perfect example of rip off Britain so be prepared for lots of frustrating delays."

"Generally good but our anxiety was raised on return to carpark in the dark by lack of clear information from driver as to where we would find our car. Also shuttle bus was shabby, dirty, rattled terribly & was uncomfortable. Shuttle bus at Nice(France)Airport was immaculately clean, quiet, comfortable & with PA system to announce locations in both English & French. Quality of Q-Park's transfer buses need to improve & create a clean, pleasant & user-friendly feeling.
The distance from set-down/pick-up point to reach Term 1 is far too great but probably beyond your control."

"Good location only 3 or 4 minutes to the airport interchange, we waited for only about 5 minutes both going and on the return pick up for the courtesy bus, helpful driver and you park and take your keys with you at this park, worth the extra few pound it costs."

"I have always thought that the service was very good. This time however I was very unhappy to not be dropped off at my terminal, we had a long way to walk to our check in when we used to be dropped off at the relevant terminal. I don't think this is an improvement in the service."

"we've used Qpark before and can generally recommend them. However the system for collecting and using barcode tickets to let you in/out of the East parking lot is unreliable and needed manual intervention twice. Worse, on arrival we were given duff information regarding a failed barcode card, which meant travelling back to the issue centre to get another ticket - then back to teh East car park! Not great when you're trying to catch an early morning flight. This occurred with other cars as well. The whole process needs improving. Car was secure and easily parked, though the collect bus took 15 mins to arrive. We were travelling from Terminal 2, which Qpark says they bus you to - they don't - nor do they collect you from T2 - despite the info on the ticket you possess. This means a lengthy trek up stationery escalators and along travelators to get to/from T2 to the collection poiint. 'Security issues' was cited as the reason, though nothing exists in anty literature to advise you - so be prepared!!"

"The car park being close to the airport is excellent and transport to and from the airport is very good.
Some of the staff were very friendly and helpful yet some were quite surly and that is a shame.
Although we understand the security reasons for the drop off point, we flew from T3 so having to drag baggage from the drop off point and back on our return is less than desirable."

"I arrived somewhat flustered after two diversions on route from Wirksworth to the carparking. I drove right past the kiosk by mistake but the staff were jolly nice about it and sorted me out. It was so quick to get parked and bussed to the airport we were right on time for our flight. On our return the bus pickup was only a five minute wait and the driver made sure we knew which part of the car park he was stopping at first. All in all a good experience I would recommend to anyone."

"October 14th - 22nd 2007, Manchester Airport.
Simple enough system to book and efficient service on arrival at Q'Park. The only hick-up was on the return, the coach driver at the Airport was not going to uplift the passengers, some of whom had been waiting for Q'Park's coach for more than 30 minutes. The driver informed us he had to go for fuel. We ourselves had been waiting 15-20 minutes. It was 0330 / 0400 hrs in the morning. The more major problem was finding our way back to the pick-up point at the Airport, lack of sinage. But overall the system was simple and straight forward"

"We found the car park easily, the site had plenty of space and the staff were excellent. However when we returned to Manchester it was not easy to find out how to get to the courtesy bus pick up point, we were eventually offered a lift by another courtesy bus to our pick up point. Once in the right place the staff and the transfer was extreemly good."
