"I thought the price was very expensive.
In each direction the bus service collected at slower than the stated collection interval of 10 minutes.
Worst of all the instructions I was given on how to deal with ticket validation up on exiting were totally incorrect.
All in all a very poor service. I will be stating this opinion on any customer feedback sites I visit in the future. I will be certainly looking at any other car parking services when I next fly from Luton.
"Having pre-booked parking in any of the APCOA parkings in Luton so far required you to validate your exit ticket in order to be able to leave the parking. You needed to go to a booth, hand them the ticket and a booking reference and they gave you back a validated exit ticket.
That changed quite recently. Without much notice, the booth at Luton Airport has been closed. A nearby sign indicates that you should simply press the red help button upon exiting the parking and tell the staff your booking reference number.
I still do not get it why they do not manage to handle this the same way most other parkings I know do: you simply use your credit/debit card (the one you used to make the booking) upon entry and exit. No need for tickets, no need to carry the booking reference with you."
"Courtesy bus arerived within 15 mins for both journeys. On return validation machine was out of order. Instructions to speak to attendant at barrier via intercom. Answered promptly with no problems and lifted barrier!"February 22, 2009
"Site was straight forward, with the cheapest option very clear, although why it was, I don't know.
Payment went through OK.
The buses to and from the airport terminal ran to schedule.
A negative was that the instructions to 'verify ticket in the airport Arrivals hall before returning to car' was out of date, I was in a hurry and I wasted time trying to find the appropriate place. Only on my second circuit, going in the opposite direction did I spot a notice on the inside of an empty booth, saying that the procedure had changed and giving instructions. I had only booked the evening before!"
"I was upgraded to Mid-term on arrival because of snow in the Long-Term Car Park. The change was managed effectively by the staff on duty. I have used the long term before and the transfer is quick and easy."February 12, 2009
"Not satisfied at all with the service.
The roads on a pproach to the parking had not been gritted or cleared an were dangerous. The car park was covered in thick snow and as a result got stuck 3 times attempting to park. There were no buses running which ment I had to walk to the airport and due to cancelled flights had to walk back to the car park.
My parking cost £25 and the services promised were not available. Though this was due to bad weather I expect a refund. Who do I contact?"
"I know that the weather last Friday was appalling but as far as I could ascertain from the desk staff at 15.00, the only thing that was being done to reinstate the transfer bus service was I quote "we are observing" what no snow clearing equipment?. This is not good enough especialy as I had no trouble finding a cab willing to take me to the car (cost £7) park on 90% clear roads. "There is not explanation at the entrance on how to proceed if you have pre-booked the parking. It was confusing to find what to do and nobody answered the phone suggested for inquiries. If you pre-booked you need to take a copy of the confirmation e-mail to a desk in the airport lobby.
Otherwise was standard service. Bus from park to airport takes less than 10 minutes."

"we were running late but hoping to make check-in at Luton on time. As i was unpacking my luggage from my car the shuttle bus passed me, i turned to indicate to the driver that i was on my way (the stop was less than 20 metres from my car).
However, the driver did not wait. We had to then wait for the next bus to arrive (15 mins). By the time we got to check-in desk we were told check-in for our flight had closed 2 minutes ago!
We were therefore forced to pay (£105) for new tickets to fly the following day.

"This parking area is a few minutes drive from the main terminal. There are transfer buses every few minutes, and I can see no advantage in paying more for medium term parking when you still have to get on a transfer bus. There are usually sufficient spaces so that you don't have to hunt for a spot. It's well lit, so arriving back in the dark is not a problem. I couldn't see any security but the entire carpark is visible from the runway and terminal building.
I'd recommend this over the medium term parking."
"your web site was very is to use. we found the car park as it was well sign posted.there was plenty of parking spaces maybe because we arrived at approx 4.30am .we only waited about 8 mins for the bus which i think is ok.on return from our holiday we went to your desk for validation of the ticket which was no problem .outside the airport there was a bus waiting to take us back to the carpark we waited about 5 mins before we set off again i think this is ok. i must say a first class service many thanks"November 4, 2008

"the car park was easy to find and we parked without difficulty. We only waited a few minutes for a bus which took us right to the airport departure doors. On return we got our ticket validated quickly and again got a bus within a couple of minutes wherein we found our car and drove out with ease. "I've used the Luton Long Term (pink) parking on a few occasions and have always had a good experience. The buses are very regular and the journey is only 5 minutes from the car park to the terminal. It's a bit dearer than the off-airport parking, but I think the couple of quid extra is money well spent for the minimum of hassle."September 25, 2008

"I was very pleased with the service and as my flight was delayed getting back everything still went very smoothly. If i may suggest two comments as some people stopped me outside the carpark as they were confused what was the pink car park. Secondly another couple who had paid and booked on the internet were not sure why they had to get a ticket on entrance. Maye you could make it more clear as some people may not have read the full document on payment and it could be highlighted in red ink. I explained to them the procedure and they felt comfortable.
Hope the feedback was useful and myself who used your service for the first time but am an experienced and regular traveller was very happy.

"After a long queue to get through passport control (not your fault) I was not in the mood to queue again to get my ticket validated and yet again for the transfer bus.
Number plate recognition would remove the validation queue. The bus queue was probably due to poor timing & was within the quoted shuttle time.
I would use the service again."

"A truely awful experience getting from the terminal back to the car park after arriving back in the UK.
Struggling with 3 fully loaded suitcases and an overcrowded bus was very difficult.
No room to move on the coach, in order to get of at my bus stop several other people in the way, not their fault. Trying to unload suitcases and my family whilst others were trying to board was very stressful.
I guess that this would not be an uncommon comment, but I also guess that very little will be done to improve this service."
