"I would suggest better written instructions for finding the long term parking when coming off the M1. The state of the road leading to the parking is appalling with many pot holes which could potentially damage ones car. I had to wait ages in the cold rain whilst waiting for the long term transfer bus which was uncomfortable and annoying when lots of mid-term transfer buses came along. I had difficulty getting out of the parking as the barrier did not open and I had to call for assistance only to have to give my reg number several times to the assistant who was rude and unapologetic when she opened the barriers, there was no communication or apology from her. I think I will use airparks next time. I would like recompense if possible."

"The car park isn't as convenient as the mid stay and it's rather scary to walk through as a woman on her own at night. On leaving,when it came to paying the additional charge at the barrier it wasn't clear if this was in addtional to the booking fee or the total to pay - I guess time will tell"

"A long time waiting for the bus to arrive to get to the airport and even more time (almost 20 minutes)waiting for it upon return. Was then squashed onto the bus with very little room to breath - movement wasn't an option!"

"Good straight forward to use, close to the airport, good value for money.

I actually had a problem with the machine not reading my card when I left but it was easily resolved by contacting bia the calling facility at the gate. The person who answered didnt mess around he just looked up my name and opened the barrier- its often the case that you get a complete "jobs worth" who will insist on coming down and putting the card in the machine the same as I had done and then opening the barrier, meanwhile I would have been sitting waiting- I am pleased to say this was not the case."

"We used the pink long term car park for the first time for our holiday. It was so easy! Booked and paid for it online, arrived at the car park and within a minute or so we had parked. We were then picked up by the bus and arrived at the terminal about 5 minutes later.
On our return, the process was just as easy.
Will definitely use again if flying from Luton. Thanks. :-)"

"Well seeing as you ask.....

All was fine re-booking & getting from the car-park to the airport for departure.

Our plane was on-time upon our return & our bags were there once we were through passport control at 2.45am.

However we then had to endure a 25 to 30 minute wait in driving rain at the bus stop outside the airport with no bus arriving. There was no-one to ask at the airport, and the lads in front of us had resorted to getting a taxi to your Pink Long Stay car park - as there was no one answering any of the phone numbers on your literature either. An emergency line to ring 'out of hours' - which is clearly advertised would help.

One bus driver (for the mid term car park) who did come - just said "It's a quoted 20 min rotation there and back, and he is on his way". No appology. However this rational does not seem to make sense to me for a number of reasons:

Firstly, as I say it had been at least 25 mins, more likely 30 mins, before the bus eventually arrived. So why was it late?

Secondly, your quoted rotation time, must be an avergage and take into account higher actual rotation times when the bus is extremely highly utilised with numbers of people to pick up, and therfore drop off at different parts of the Pink Long Stay car park. This was 2am / 3am in the morning, so should of been lower than your 'average' time not higher surely?! In our queue there were around 9 to 10 people - i.e. not a lot. I refuse to believe that the previous journey was hugely loaded either at that time of the morning.

Thirdly - the bus driver who we did speak to (for Mid Term Car Park) - did a full rotation and picked up twice during the time we were all standing there. He did not explain that he was closer, just gave the abrupt message I quote above about the 20 min rotation and said the bus was on it's way.

Lastly, when the bus eventually did arrive (without an acknowledgement of actually being late, or explanation for why) our journey to the Pink Car Park was around 6 mins, and we were dropped off second stop in the car park - even leaving for one or two more stops within the car park - 4 or 5 mins tops for drop off I would say, a total of around 16 mins for a pick up, drop off for return of people to their cars, and then travel back to the pick up point. This does not tally up to me.

Also we were all tired, and extremely wet, by the time the bus arrived, and even when it did.....there wasnt not any heating on it!!

- over all extremely dissapointing!

I have used this car park and your firm successfully before for skiing travel on several occasions from Luton, and actually recommended it to two people with us on this occasion which was cringeable ( - Simon and Eleanor Hill).

This time it just did not come together for your processes, people, assets and systems it seems."

"Having lived not far from the airport, I have previously used local transport, taxies or willing family members to drop off and pick up. However, due to an early departure I decided to investigate airport parking. Having now done so I will continue to do so for all future trips. The "door to door" nature of this choice was so much better, no worrying about people arriving on time or having to find them on our return, together with the cost, which was far less than taxi fares made it so much more enjoyable. Transfers were regular and added to the feel that the holiday had already started. A very satisfactory experience."

"Parking was easy. The roads were full of large chip pings though which hindered the luggage wheels. On our return I realised the ticket had the wrong number plate so when I inserted it into the machine on exit we were faced with a bill for over one hundred pounds! Fortunately I pressed the help button and the problem was sorted. But these little things did not allow for a smooth transition for our holiday"

"Arrived at Luton, and ran into traffic jam @6.05am, @0.5 mile from roundabout on airport approach.

Our flight was at 7.20............by the time we had queued in traffic......parked in pink park......waited at overflowing bus stop in heavy rain and caught bus to take us to airport..........we had missed our flight boarding time by ten minutes. Bus driver and easy jet rep cheerily confirmed that this is standard situation every day at Luton.

Rubbish roads.....rubbish parking .......rubbish airport .........Drove to Birmingham and caught another Flybe flight flight without problem .Wont Bother with Luton again

"I can confirm that my experience of using the long term parking at Luton was smooth and seamless both for arrival and departure. The car park is clearly sign posted from the M1 and was simple to find. booking in was as simple as parking in a shopping centre car park just pull up to the gate and the machine welcomes you by name issues a ticket pull in and park up it is really that simple. Buses are clean and regular with a good selection of pick up points throughout the car park and the transfer takes about 5 minutes right to the doors of the terminal. Cost wise I did shop around and to be fair all car parks are about the same price but for ease of use long stay pink is the one for me."

"The car park was well signposted, so easy to find. On arrival we found a space within minutes, and the bus was already there to take us the short trip to the airport. On our return we had to wait for nearly twenty minutes, a bit inconvenient especially as two mid term car park buses came and went in that time."

"Parking up was ok and bus almost immediate so very happy going. On way back bus less frequent (was a Sunday evening but I didnt pay any less for it being a Sunday evening and so should have had the same service) but not too bad: waited about 10 mins then the bus waited another 10 mins before going to car park. That much was ok.
However when I got to the barrier it wanted a credit card and had no other way of leaving for pre-booked than ringing the operator from the barrier. That needs to be sorte dout before I will use Pink again."

"Easy to book, good signage made it easy to find the carpark and the wait for the bus was short. On the way back, again a short wait and drove away easily, infact were away before friends who had parked in the closer green car park !"

"Reg recognition system worked very well, trouble free on arrival and departure. Waited less than 10 mins for bus to terminal and less than two mins on arrival back in Luton. Very easy, although singage for exit could be improved. There was a wheelchair passenger on bus back and driver was very helpful as well."

"the convenience was awesome - so close to the airport with regular buses. The automated system - no. plate recognition - was also impressive as access was never simpler. One drawback - I had to trawl up and down the lanes to find a space; it could just have been a busy period. Soon you'll find a way of making empty spaces immediately visible, on entry. Anyway, a great experience, thanks."

"Easy to book, easy to use and a good price. Only slight issue was it seemed quite a long wait in the drizzle and cold when we got back for the shuttle bus, but it was probably only 10 - 15 mins."

"If you don't know Luton and we didn't, the website directions to the parking are simply useless! The map displayed shows the location to be in, if I recall correctly Percival Way(?) an industrial area. On the plus side the coach drivers were helpful and friendly!"

"Very mixed experience
Good bits: Fair price, shortish transfer from car park to airport.
Bad bits: Just missed a bus when coming home, next one did not stop at all-despite being empty (and, yes, it was raining too!)When trying to exit via the barrier machine told me that I needed to pay an extra £150. Managed to reverse to get "admin" notes from boot of car. Tried again, same result. Used intercom and got it sorted (but had to wait-nice queue behind me) as bloke in the car parallel to me had same problem). Also saw others reversing to sort out their problems too. Not great at such a busy time 95-30pm)"
