"Only had to wait for two mins for a bus both out and inbound. Close enough to the airport to ensure a short bus ride. Spaces were well marked. Ticket validation was problem free. Price was fair (I didn't book until quite late). Overall, quite happy."

"Luton Long Term Parking was simple to book online, and the instructions and map were easy to follow. On arriving at the airport, the Long Term Parking is well signed and there were ample spaces available. The shuttle bus arrived promptly to take us to and from the airport on our return.We would certainly use this car park again when travelling from Luton."

"We used it at 6am on a Monday morning, there were plenty of spaces near to the bus stops, the bus was prompt and we were transported to the airport without any problems. A very good service. On the way back we waited for about 10 minutes and again were transported without hitch."

"It was OK. It is a bit further from the airport that I would like although the buses were frequent enough.

Although it was difficult to find the office in the departure hall. I had prebooked and therefore had to have the card confirmed. However, it was difficult to find. You should have a simple map on the payment machines."

"Very easy to book and to access. The bus arrived a short time after I parked and I was able to get a parking place near the bus stop so I did not have far to walk. When I returned there was no queue for the validation kiosk and when I went outside, there was only a short wait for the bus - one had just gone and I was the first I the queue. I thought I would have to wait a long time but one came within 5 minutes. I was out of the airport very quickly.

The only snag is having to validate your ticket - would prefer to put my credit card into the exit ticket gate - and there is a lot of traffice at the top round about, which slows down the bus. They need to sort out that drop off area."

"It was well signposted and easy to find which was good. The transfer from the car park to the airport was good, but that was all let down by the awful quality of service on our return.

For whatever reason the buses weren't working as they should do when we got back. We were waiting for 20 mins when it should have been 15 which is alright, but there were other people who had been waiting far longer 45mins. When the bus finally arrived it stopped away from the bus stop, causing a rush to get on the bus which annoyed passengers who had been waiting the longest. A member of staff came to try and sort out the problem, but ended up making it worse. The member of staff got angry and lost his temper when passengers entirely reasonably and politely although slightly sarcastically critisised the organisation and asked why there were delays and why there weren't more buses. The member of staff lost his temper and started shouting that he wouldn't let anyone one the bus and pointing to the sign saying that staff would not be physically or verbally abused and threatened to ban passengers from getting on any subsequent bus. This was just a joke. The questions were politely put and perfectly reasonable and not answered at all. All he had to do was come out, appologise and say what the problem was and that would have been enough for most of the people there. Instead he made the organisation look rediculous as rather than answer any of the questions just walked away.

This was then hampered by the bus driver who was going to leave with the bus only half full and and a large number of people still waiting. People were all crowding at the front of the bus blocking the aisle so no one else could get on, although there were plenty of seats and space further back on the bus. When a passenger asked the bus driver if they could ask the passengers to move down the bus for more people to get on the reply they got was "It's not my job to do that, why don't you do it if you want". the passenger did do it and people did move down the bus and another ten or so people were able to get on. Again, all it would have taken for the situation to be made a little better would have been for the bus driver to use their common sense, appologise and ask people to move down the bus so that more people could get on. It was these small things that could have been sorted out really easily and would have made a big difference to how people felt.

As the bus was so full it meant that when we arrived at the car park there was no room for people to get on the bus for the journey to the airport. They were told that there was another bus coming that would have more space on it, but because of the delay, the bus behind was as full as the one we were on. I would have been much more annoyed not to be able to get to the airport and miss my flight because for whatever reason the bus failed to pick me up.

So in all, an alright experience ruined by the staff and their inability to handle simple problems politely let alone efficiently."

"We found the whole experience very good. The shuttle bus came quite quickly and dropped us off right outside the terminal. Likewise going home it was quick and easy to validate our exit ticket at the NCP booth and the shuttle picked us up right outside the terminal.We didn't have too long to wait either side and it only took around 5-10 minutes to get to the car park. We chose the long term car park and it was good value for money ( we booked in advance so got a good rate)."

"We stayed at the long term car park, which was easy to find. The bus picked us up from bus stop 2 although we could not get on the first one as it was full. We only just managed to get onto the 2nd one and people at stop 1 didnt get on at all so were left in the cold for a long time. I suggest that the buses alternate their route from 7 through to 1 then 1 through to 7 and this problem would be solved.
After our holiday we returned to our car to find that we had a flat battery. We contacted the reception and one of your guys came out quickly and started our car. The service was very good and we were gratefull.

"Literature states that this facility is "on the airport approx. 5 mins from the terminal entrance". This suggests that you can park up and walk to the entrance in 5 mins. ie. it is very close. In fact it is more than 5 mins. by bus transfer (depending on where you park your car). I chose this car park thinking I could walk. Luckily the transfer buses are reasonably frequent."

"Luton long-term parking used Monday 1/10/07 - Friday 5/10/07. M40 delay warnings persuaded us to travel cross-country from Oxford via Aylesbury and Dunstable and airport signeage is a bit lacking on this route!
Road works & traffic in Luton also caused confusion and delay but once on the airport the parking directions were excellent and spaces though scarce were signed. Nasty weather and the shelters are not very good at keeping luggage and people dry - they need enclosing. Transfers both ways were efficient, convenient and regular - I would use the service again...."

"Pre-booked BCP Long Term Parking at Luton for 7 days. On arrival, the car park was packed. Many cars were parked on the grass verge or in the middle of the lanes. It took ages to find a parking space. Not what you expect when pre-booking airport parking. ave received better service at other airports."

"It was a great service, the buses come round really frequently and the drivers both times were polite. We found the kiosk where we had to validate our ticket on return slightly difficult to find after a tiring journey as it was tucked round a corner in the arrivals hall but all in all first rate."

"All went well until I came to finding my car on my return! I knew roughly where it was but in the dark, very late at night (and beginning to rain) it took me nearly 10 mins to find it - there are a lot of other dark blue/black cars around! All was well in the end! Taking the car and parking it there was certainly much easier and quicker than getting a train into London and another one to Luton so I would definitely do it again if I fly from Luton!"

"Easy to find driving south on the M1 and very convenient at only 3 miles from the m-way. A lot of roadworks in progress which is a slight distraction but other than that no problems. I would consider flying from Luton again given the ease pf parking."

"Generally I would say fair is a good summary. On arrival at 5.00am it was dark and pouring with rain - and we had to stand with many other people and wait while 2 buses went straight past us as they were full. When the 3rd bus arrived it was nearly full but most of us managed to squeeeze our damp ourselves on to it.

When we returned getting the ticket validated etc was ok but we had to wait some 15 minutes for a bus to arrive then when it did it didnt have hardly any space for luggage (is this an airport long stay car park, dont people have luggage!!!!). By the time it arrived there was a large queue and it was obvious that we werent all going to get on with our luggage - a lady asked the driver how long the next bus would be and he shrugged his shoulders and said he didnt have any idea as the traffic was heavy, why dont the buses and taxis have a designated lane? Anyway when we did get on the bus half the seats were taken by cases so half the queue was left behind."

"Easy to find. Signs to spaces led to area with few spaces. bus to airport quick. On return unable to get on first bus due to queue. Second bus long time coming followed within minutes by third. Possibly they had got out of sync due to traffic chaos within airport."
