"Easy to book, good parking space within walking distance of the terminal. Security seemed good.
Easy process to exit with the intercom being answered immediately and the barrier lifted within 5 seconds.
I would ecommend this service"

"I have used this car park a lot and 2 things are noticable:
1) Its a lot emptier than in previous 2 years..though the cheaper prices might help. Need to reduce further I think.
2) I do have some anxciety now that there isnt an office in the terminal to sign off the ticket. Its inevitable that a que is going to build up on exit if there is any discrepency and its going to be a nightmare trying to resolve with angry drivers sitting behind !"

"The removal of the Apcoa desk from within the terminal is a great mistake. Now, one drives to the barrier, pushes the buzzer and waits to give the early booking reference to the attendant. We found the attendant was 'engaged' and we had to wait some time for someone to speak to us: after repeating the reference a few times (naturally it's rather noisy) we had to request the barrier to be raised twice before we could leave. As it happened the car park was not busy at the time, but at the height of the season this system will cause very long queues and very short tempers.

The removal of the terminal office is a very poor decision indeed, but presumably was designed to deter customers from availing themselves of the cheaper pre-booking prices by making the experience difficult and inconvenient. Cynical and stupid."

"Easy to park up and I did not have any hold-ups on exiting.
More covered walkways are needed from the car park to the main entrance as, in inclement weather, one could get very wet.
Overall quite impressed but someway to go.

"DREADFUL!

There was no where to validate the ticket in the airport (closed since 18.2.09 apparently) and we had to queue at barrier, phone for attention (permanently engaged) until some one eventually answered the phone and took our vouchere number and let us out. We had a regular traveller with us who knew where an 'out of the way' barrier was so we got out within 10 minutes but at the main barrier there were at least 20 cars in the queue and during hte time we watched that not a single car moved.

I'm afraid I would never use this service again. When we use the airport in March for a week we will use a taxi!"

"Parking was great, very straightforward and very close to the terminal. Leaving the carpark was a different matter! We were unable to get out of the gate as we had prepayed and the booth that we were supposed to go to for validation was closed and there were nop staff available. There were 20+ other cars having the same problem. After nearly an hour and lots of walking around the terminla etc we eventual;ly managed to find 4 staff (having a chat) who then let us lexit.

Not very impressive and not an expereince we will do again

"We found the airport parking very convenient, just a short walk to the terminal.Our ticket was validated very quickly on our return, as there was only one person in front of us waiting in the que.Some of the car park was
uneven, which did need a new surface, but besides this
slight negative, we will definately using the car park
on our next journey."

"The close proximity to the terminal is a major advantage and is very practical. The current price is very competitive and I hope they can maintain it that way. In all a great service, despite the instructions as to exit procedures for pre-booked/pre-paid customers, which need clarifying."

"This is the first time I have used a car park at Luton except for dropping off and picking up passengers. The short term car park is very close to the terminal so that is extremely convenient. The charge for two weeks of £90 was very reasonable - now having experienced the benefits of the short term car park I would be prepared to pay a small premium over the charge for the mid or long term car park. The NCP desk personnel were cheerful and friendly and the whole process was very efficient."

"The actual parking was great. Short term is so close to the deparure area. however we did experience problems with the service beforehand. We wanted to change the details of our car but the on line service would not accept the booking reference number and we couldn't talk to anyone on the phone. As it turned it we had no need to worry and everything was fine - but we did have a few days of concern. I thought it was a bit pricey for 4 days of parking but that must just be London rates!"

"Good, but please make it clearer on the confirmation that payment must be validated at desk in terminal prior to collecting the car from the car park. This information is only on the directions sheet, and if you have visited before, then like me you would not open the document!"

"Very easy to find carpark and parking space. Close to departures so no need to catch a bus, 5 minute walk only. Quick and easy to validate ticket and exit carpark. Overall excellent."

"Despite coming back to a flat tyre (caused by a nail not intentional damage) I had a very pleasant experience. The short-term car park was very competetively priced and I was able to wait for the AA rescue in the main terminal building, which offers refreshments all night, which was a real bonus."

"Going on holiday always seems like a series of hurdles to be leapt before one is actually able to relax. Being able to park right next to the departures hall at 4am on a cold winters morning and decanting 3 children and all of our bags is about as painless as it gets. Within 3 minutes we were checking in.
All I needed was to validate my ticket at arrivals (showing confirmation email) and we were whizzing home in our car without delay. Highly recommended."

"Good parking but if it had been raining no cover provided anywhere from car park to terminal. Excellent price though, don't like humping luggage on to buses. Helpful guy at NCP desk very polite."

"I found using the 'short-stay' carpark at Luton an excellent option. I have Multiple Scelerosis which impedes my mobility and causes me difficulty lifting heavy cases on and off transfer buses and the luggage racks inside them. Using the short-stay meant that I was able to park within easy walking distance of the terminal and able to pull my trolley case the whole way without having to struggle. On top of that at £75 for the week,(booking in advbance, on line) for a London airport, found it great value for money."

"The Luton Airport Short Term Parking pre-booking system is an excellent way to save money and take the headache out of parking for business trips: none of this nonsense of having to take the credit card the booking was originally made on, so beloved by other operators!
Simply turn up, stroll the 5 minutes to the airport (mostly covered), fly, return, go to the desk with your parking ticket and booking code and pay!
Bingo! Before you know it, you're crawling down the M1 at 50 mph, or less!
It's even cheaper than the similar service at London City (which, of course, is not plagued by the dreaded M1 roadworks!)."

"I was very pleased with the experience. I got an excellent deal on the Short Term car park which meant I could park in front of the terminal and be at the desk in minutes. On my return I found that my battery was flat, I talked to the NCP people on-site and they got be on the road within 10 minutes. Probably one of the best Airport parking experiences that I have had in the last 10 years of flying."
