"Parking spaces/section were well signposted from the main entrance to Parking Express. When pre-booking, the license plate automatic recognition operates the exit barriers and minimises queues/hanging around.

Two... three things prevented me from giving this Heathrow carpark a "5" rating.

First point: When I got off at Bus stop 2, section D parking is directly opposite. I was parked in section D row 2, as noted on my ticket stub a week earlier, but all the row designators, D2, D3, D4 etc. are high up on lamp posts but all facing the other way - away from the bus stop i.e. they can be seen easily only when you arrive to park up (and note on your ticket stub.) They should have the same signage on both sides, to make the row designators more visible, preventing suitcases being dragged between adjacent parked cars, preventing the knocking of door mirrors and scratching vehicle paintwork.

Second point: Some shuttle buses go back/forth between T1,T2 and T3 and the rest back/forth to T4 ( and potentially T5?). It's real easy if you are in a hurry, to get on the wrong bus and then you have to use the free Heathrow shuttle to travel between the T1/2/3 and T4 buildings - which can add almost 45 minutes to your end2end travel time for flight check-in. It would be great if the bus driver could make a quick announcement at the final bus stop before exiting the car park, saying to which terminal this bus service is heading for, or perhaps an automated reminder on the bus's PA system, which triggers before the buses leave the carpark.

Finally the third point - which is really the "icing on the cake". Perhaps Parking Express could mention on the Bus PA system whilst on route to the terminal buildings, the new IRIS passport recognition system which is on trial for UK Passport holders and available in all terminals. As a regular passenger, using T1,T2 and occasionally T3, the prospect of long lines at peak periods is no longer an issue - you can sail through passport checks in no time at all with a quick retinal scan.

Depending on the time of day when you sign up for IRIS there can be a queue, but the actual sign-up process takes 5 minutes from start to finish. Anything I can do to reduce the time taken to be processed through immigration on the way back into the UK has to be a positive benefit."

"Generally fine - buses to/from airport were regular and hassle-free. The only comment I have is that the directions on the website could be a little more user-friendly, especially for someone who is driving on their own. I got quite lost on the way from the M4 to your location!"

"No problem at all. Very efficient. When we got to the car park it was very full but there were attendants directing us to available spaces which is really good. We remembered to write down our parking lot number but there was a party of a mother with 2 small children coming back and they forgot where they parked their car. This must be quite a common problem and trying to find your car in the dark cold night after a lovely holiday must be dreadful! May be a big sign at the car park entrance to remind people?
Otherwise great service!"

"It was difficult in Terminal 3 to find out which bus stop number corresponded to Parking Express. This is a failing of the Terminal not Parking Express but perhaps they could pressure on the Airport Authority to provide more visible information as we weren't the only ones wandering around at 6 in the morning getting increasingly frustrated. Otherwise getting to and from the Terminal was effortless."

"Excellent - no problems at all and we even remembered to make a note of where we had parked! Buses turned up really quickly even at 11.15 pm and drivers were helpful. Maybe you could make it a bit cheaper...?"

"Although the parking express was a very good experience, it cost me more on-line to book even though I was promised lower rates.

It would have been less expensive for me to have paid on the day and not to book!

That made my experience a bad one!

It should be made clearer that booking on-line is not cost effective for stays of less than 2 days!"

"Overall very smooth process.

Some confusion on returning to carpark on the bus service as some bus stop numbers only being associated with specific car park zones, where as passengers had remembered a certain combination of zone letter and car park number. (not being called out!)

I appreciate that it is difficult to satisfy everyone during this part of the process whilst retaining a quick turn around of connecting transport and thus a small issue for an otherwise fantastic service."

"I have use this airport parking facility a few times during this year. I find it acceptable and relatively handy for all terminals at LHR. I prefer it to cheaper 'off-airport' parking. I'm happy with this facility"

"I pre booked and pre paid for a parking place.

The web site instructions/booking slip didn't say anything about picking up a ticket at the barrier on entry. But as no other option was offered at the barrier we picked up a ticket.

Dropping off the car, being collected by the bus and being taken to Terminal 4 was very straightforward.

On returning, we initially struggled to find the appropriate bus stop - the signing in the terminal was not helpful. We had too pull cases along the footpath looking for the "Stop 3". Another couple at the bus stop had the same problem. Of course if we had known before hand - say on the booking confirmation, that would have been helpful.

On returning to the car, we got to the exit barrier and discovered that I had lost the parking ticket - my fault. But again, having prepaid, there were no instructions that indicated that I had to take the ticket to customer services and get another ticket to get out - I had expected to insert my booking reference into a machine at the barrier.

Its difficult to see the advantage in pre paying - it seems to take longer.

So all in all, we would use the car park again because it is convenient, transit to the Terminal good and probably safer than meet and greet services. But there is certainly scope for better signing at Terminal 4 and advance instructions for paying."

"very good service i arrived at 02.30 on a sunday morning phoned number and told at which bus stop i was waiting at, the bus arrived with in 10 minuets while waiting i could see a security car driving around checking car park. The bus took me to t2 with no problems. On return waited 10 minuets at t2 at 12.30 on a saturday afternoon the bus continued on to t3 then to car park took 15 minuets. no problems with the car or exiting the car park, i would recomend this service to everybody i know, it is so close to the terminals so no traffic problems trying to get in from hounslow or m4"

"There are no signs in the airport to show where to go to collect the car. It would be useful if when you received your ticket from the machine that it said which bus stop to go to. It was very busy when we landed and the buses were not running to the 8-10 mins advertised. The first bus raced straight past the bus stop and then it was a further 20 mins before the bus finally turned up. Apart from that cannot fault the service."

"Finding a Parking space, no problem and the Bus stop locations to parking lanes is well laid out. The Bus shuttle Service was frequent with polite and friendly drivers.

My biggest problem was finding the Location!! I had the address. I had the map print out. I even had a G.P.S. system. Finding the road was no problem as I have a rough idea of the area from past trips. I was looking for a B.C.P. Car Park not an Express Parking Car Park. Change of Corporate Livery? Not the same as website or the map print out which was also far too small."

"The parking facilities were fine. We had a longer wait than anticipated for the bus ( in excess of 15 mins) but this may have been caused by the rain & infact 2 buses arrived within about a minute of each other."

"I have used long term airport parking at Heathrow for quite a while now. I prefer to use Parking Express as they are very handy and have a lot of shuttle buses throughout the day.

Booking on line is very easy and generally every time I book I am given a variety of options to choose from: meaning that I can choose my parking provider based on price and several other variables. You don't get these choices everywhere do you?"

"We used parking express on a recent trip to Paris.

The car park was well signposted and the shuttle service was excellent. I have used many other parking facilities before at various airports and this was one of the best. No hassle at either end of our journey.

I will definitely use this company again."

"Although I arrived at 2:50 am I was able to park close to the Customer Services and a bus to the terminal did appear within six or seven minutes. On return at 16:50 or so the service was quick and efficient - as there were relatively few on the bus the driver did appear to remember which drop off point we each wanted. I had to go to customer services to have my exit stamped but he did not need to see my email voucher."
