"Do not use!! We were left waiting for a transfer from LHR for 50 minutes, Our flight got delayed by 5 hours, I even emailed to advise. We called as soon as we landed, speedy security and baggage then waited outside at the bus stop for nearly an hour, late at night. No phone number they provide allows you to speak to an advisor, only automated services. Tweeted them, no reply. Horrendous especially for they price they charge. Absolutely no not recommend. "I booked to park from 4am on 27th Sept, for 10days at Gatwick. I had used this company before & thought their park was near North Terminal. I could not found any detailed information online, so took postcode for Gatwick address from website before leaving. My GPS didn't accept postcode, so drove to arrivals to ask there. Not much help, so phoned the 2 phone numbers on website. Just voicemail, so drove to Charlwood Road address, but no one there & all locked up. I went back to airport & time being short now, went to the airport's long stay car park. On my return, the fee there should have been £208 but after speaking to sympathetic attendant, he arranged for £105. Contacted Purple parking by email next day & requested they consider a refund for the £78 I had already paid them. They referred my request to management & it was refused. I wrote back to request they reconsider & said I would wait for 4 days. Nothing heard, so just to warn you that this is an inflexible company with no care for customer service at the top level."October 17, 2017
"Well ,after using Purple parking for a few years now i was very satisfied with their service until we recently booked for a holiday in september. i used the discount code and booked a Saver option .unfortunately the duration changed while booking and i contacted Purple parking immediately and was they could not cancel as it was a saver option and there was no way of amending or cancelling the booking even though within the small print on the saver option it stated the there was a 14 day cooling off period .I can honestly say that after speaking to several managers most of them were short and not so customer service orientated i had no choice but to seek legal advice. It turns out that Purple parking were i fact using this saver option with out permission and not so surprising was that they were Audited and this option was not present at that time.Strange that.They have now been forced to remove this option and make clear to all bookings that their is a 14 day cancellation period for ALL bookings and they have to make sure their staff are also aware of this. I will never use this company again purely because of the way i was treated and that i was forced to pay an extra cost for additional days which was more expensive. "Even though I turned up staggeringly late for my flight (arrived at 0526 for a gate that closed at 0555...!) AND booked my parking for the day after, service couldn't have been quicker and the bus transfer leaving bang on time at 0530 meant I made my flight - even though it took ten minutes - by 2 minutes. "Can't fault the ease of dropping off your car as it takes minutes or fault the staff as they were happy to help and full of energy. My only grudge is I cleaned and polish my car before arriving and after a brilliant holiday the first thing I see is a huge amount of muddy sludge all over my roof which can't be explained. "I left my car with Purple Parking my car didn't have a scratch on it until I got back from holiday I didn't have time to have a good look at my car because of a long haul flight and they parked the car so close to the parked car in front so I couldn't see the damage until the next day after getting a good sleep.
When looked property with a clear head I noticed a long scratch on the front bumper and most of it had be covered by a bad paint job done by them to hide the extent of the damage/scratch.
I called them a day later after collecting my car and they just fobbed me off saying I should of seen it before I left the car park grounds.
They wouldn't except the damage on my car my car is less than two years old and a very expensive car at that but wouldn't have it.
To be honest I would say if you're going to use this company use a old car which you don't care about or just take a cab or taxi or public transport.
They will damage your car and hide it if they can. They Bragg about have a repair shop for damage etc. But why would a CAR PARK COMPANY HAVE A REPAIR WORKSHOP if you are going to just leave your car and it should be moved it a safe area on the grounds???

"Awful company. Steer well clear. The fact that you leave your car keys with some random driver and they then "carefully park it" for you is not made clear until the final stage before payment. You have to "accept the terms and conditions" first - the parking your car for you section is quite a way down and not easy to find. I requested a refund after my conformational email detailed the whole parking process. Many attempts have failed. Goodwill gesture?? Fail. "left my car at gatwick for 8 days last week, on arrival witnessed cars being raced from drop off point to well who knows where. I mentioned to reception guy about drivers being insured his comment was 'we dont have time for that' and sneered. On my return ( at midnight ) found extra miles on the clock, 8 miles, but the range counter had reduced by 30 miles, only assumption can be that the car was thrashed to its destination. Following morning in day light examined the car (brand new) there was mud attached to the rear bumper and a blank plate had popped out, so had been reversed into a mud heap i guess, the drivers side in the car was also full of mud. All of this denied by the company, almost a waste of time to complain as they feel they can do what they like. Will be taking this matter further ."August 6, 2017

"I recently used purple parking at Bath Road when flying from Terminal 5 at Heathrow. The staff are so unpleasant it's hard to believe. I approached a lounge area where about four members of staff were sitting. I asked them where do I collect my transport to the Airport, after about ten seconds one pointed to a bus outside.On return I followed their instructions on how to be collected. I was waiting for just less than one hour. "Everything seemed fine with purple parking until we returned. The car was in my husbands name but he handed me the ticket so he could get the bags. When I went to collect the car the lady behind the desk took the ticket and handed me the keys and told me where the car was.... just exactly like that. No i.d. check, no name confirmation and no confirmation of the car! I thought this is very reckless considering they are supposed to be looking after our cars. "As my car make is prone to flooding the engine if moved short distances, I had specifically phoned the operator in advance to check they knew how to deal with the car and was assured they had procedures in place to ensure flooding would not take place. Sure enough on return from my trip I get in the car and there is a strong smell of petrol. Turn of the key and dead. Flooded. I went in to speak with the staff and explain the situation and was met with a stonewall of it can't be flooded we have procedures to make sure it isn't, it must be some other fault. Having told them there is nothing else wrong with the car, they simply said I had to call the AA and sort it out myself. I was supposed to be at a wedding anniversary dinner shortly! So I call the AA and they come and confirm that there is nothing else wrong with the car, flooded by user error. The AA man goes in and tells the manager this. As I said at the time, their procedures are all well and good if they are followed but they clearly couldn't have been here. Having made a complaint that they delayed my journey and essentially left me to sort out a problem they caused, I have been called to say in no uncertain terms they will accept no liability and still unbelievably don't seem to accept that either their procedures are inadequate or if adequate, they have not been followed. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE on all fronts. DO NOT USE THESE JOKERS."March 21, 2017
"I had a very unhappy experience with Purple Parking, Gatwick. Left my new car there for two weeks in February while we were on holiday. It was dark and raining when we got back. We were tired and I did not check the car over until the next morning, when I found two small chips out of the outer rim of the driver's door. They were NOT there when I left the car at Gatwick. All the hallmarks of a Purple Parking employee opening the door carelessly against a wall, or other solid object. Purple Parking's default position is to deny responsibility. They sent me a CCTV photo of my car entering their car park, which (they agreed) did not show any damage. They then sent me two very poor CCTV photos of the car as we left, in which it was difficult even to see the door, let alone any damage. In the end, after a long exchange of emails, they still denied responsibility but agreed to send a smart car repair service round to my house. There was no way I was having one of those dab-it-on and go smart repair services ruining my car door with paint that didn't match, but fortuitously, a friend of a friend owns a body shop and he did the work for nothing - with the correct paint ! I suggested Purple Parking make me an ex-gratia payment to compensate for all the time and trouble I had spent trying to sort out damage caused by them but - surprise, surprise - nothing has been forthcoming. My advice to anyone using Purple Parking is to check your car for damage when you collect it and report it then and there. Never again will I be using Purple Parking at Gatwick."March 17, 2017
