"Used this service before, but some thing went wrong this time... every one that had pre-booked (there was a few of us at the exit gate) were told that they had over stayed - I was asked for £120, some were more, some less - it took a good 5 minutes at the exit barrier before it was all cleared up..."

"Quick and easy only problem is the postcode provided takes you to the wrong location, I wouldn't have known this if I hadn't checked previous reviews but when I arrived I called the help line just to check the the attendant was very helpful"

"When I got to the barrier I got a bill for £165. I then travelled to a portacabin that was empty apart from a sign saying use the intercom at the barrier. Did that and red out ref. None of this on instructions. Why no automatic number plate recognition?"

"The car park is conveniently sited and the bus transfer fast and efficient. The drop off point is inconveniently sited, poorly signposted, and too far from the terminal building. The postcode provided for satnav use misrouted me to the terminal building, and roadside signing to the car park was inadequate. The reference code provided by FHR was not recognised at entry or exit, necessitating contact with the staff on duty, who initially could not recognise the code. I was not amused to be initially presented the exit gate with a demand for payment of a three figure sum. I have used a variety of parking options at Edinburgh over past years and this was my poorest experience to date."

"Very straightforward to use this car park but thought it was rather expensive. We paid £71 for 1 week but someone told us they had paid £30 so why the difference?"

"What I like about this car park is:

1 online booking and ANPR system
2 short distance of park to terminal

What I found less helpful than previously:

3 longer walk to bus drop off/pick up point.

You might want to consider this to make your service more helpful:

4 When returning to car park after dark and a long flight, could the driver announce bus stop number once in the park? Not always easy to see outside and get one's bearings when seated at back of bus.
5 some help for passengers with limited ability to lift cases. Another Car Park service had driver helping passengers load cases. By comparison, your driver stood and chatted with a colleague while some folk genuinely struggled and needed help from fellow passengers."

"Fine on the way there as the courtesy bus picked us up (waited approx. 5 mins) but awful on the way back as the usual pick up point has been changed because of all the building work taking place at Edinburgh Airport and we couldn't see any new signage for the car park so ended up wandering around in the dark for 25 to 20 minutes (almost midnight) until an airport worker accompanied us on foot to the car park."

"Everything went fine except that when I entered my card it showed that I owed £255! Although the matter was dealt with quickly enough, it is the kind of shock I could do without at the end of a 23 hour journey from the other side of the world. Surely your system should be able to recognise pre-paid cards."

"Overall a pleasant experience, straight forward booking system, good instructions/directions for getting there. Only down sides I could find is that the drop off and pick up point is still some distance from the terminal, not a biggy for some people, but on a family holiday lugging four suitcases from the drop off point to the terminal is still a trudge you could do without. Which leads me to my only other issue, storage of cases on the small buses is poor, if u use the limited racks and the bus fills up as normal with people standing in the passage way, retrieving the cases is a nightmare and difficult not to injure someone in the process. Other than that I can't fault the service."

"Parking facilities were absolutely fine,with a good bus service and very helpful staff.
What wasn't so good was when we came to exit, the barrier didn't seem to register that we were prepaid and indicated we owed £99.99 to leave the car park.Whilst this was sorted out using the telephone it was an inconvenience. One further point regarding the lighting of the exit barrier push buttons was very poor (in the shade)-we left towards midnight on a very clear night,but it wasnt easy to see which buttons to use in order to obtain assistance without a torch.
Other than that Nay problem."

"Good - bus piuck up and well located

Bad - Sold as NCP Long Stay but called Scotpark when you get there confusing and meant I took longer to find it when I had little time to spare.
-Not clear where the office is to hand in the voucher late at night - had to go through an entrance marked
"Staff car park only" to get there."
