"It was just about OK. The car park was heaving when I arrived and cars were abandoned all over the place where they should not be. There was a sign saying 'spaces' but there were clearly no spaces and cars were parking in areas where it said no parking. There was nobody around to ask if it was OK to park where I shouldn't in the absense of any spaces - so I spent the following week worrying I would get clamped.
Once I had parked up, it took 20+mins (much longer than advertised) for a bus to arrive and it arrived with 2 other buses at the same time. Given the journey time of 3-4 mins, this clearly IS avoidable.
The return trip back to the car park did work much better."
"We regularly use airport parking all over the country, and I can honestly say that using long stay car park 7 was the easiest and most convenient airport parking experience we have had. The staff were helpful, the parking is secure and the transfers (always an issue with airport parking) were spot on.
We have chosen to fly from East Midlands again in August, and airport parking was one of the deciding factors."
"Having pre-booked, Iturned up at Long stay car park 7 as instructed to be met with a sign - 'car park full please use short stay' no other information was available about paying or pre-booking so I went to check at the carp park office and was told to just take a ticket at short stay and this would be validated on my return. I drove all the way back to short stay and after driving around it several times, could not find a space. I returned to the long stay and told the same attendant that I had 90 minutes before my flight and asked him waht he was going to do about my parking. Imagine my surprise when he said come in and park in F zone, there are plenty of spaces (the car park full sign was still being displayed).
This is not the sort of treatment I expect having pre-booked to avoid this sort of siutuation!!"
"We arrived in plenty of time for our flight, to the car park we had pre booked under the understanding that the buses were every 10 minutes. We then had to wait 40 minutes for a bus,
which took 15 minutes to get to the terminal - so we nearly missed our check in time.
We were not impressed as 2 buses went past us - as they were 'full-up' yet to us they looked as though they had space for more passengers.
We would not use this car park again."

"The transfer bus took over 20 mins to arrive to pick us up from car park 7 (long stay).
On return it was unclear about payment and several of the people on the flight, myself included used the machines located in arrivals. We had already paid for our parking tickets previously and so had to fillout claim forms etc which was annoying as it was 2.00am and we had a long journey ahead."

"Not as easy to use as some other airport carparks. I like the ones where they park your car for you and bring it back when you return.
It is complicated how you have to get your ticket stamped before you leave the terminal, I reckon a lot of people get caught out by that. Also you have to get it stamped outside departures not arrivals!"

"The directions i received were spot on, so thanks for that. Despite us arriving on site on a cold miserable morning at 05.00am your staff were cheery and helpful.
The transfer bus arrived quickly and help was given with our bags.
On our return I had lost my booking reference number en route, and once again your office staff were helpful and ensured that I was able to get on my way quickly. All in all a very pleasant experience and i will recommend your facility.

"The only problem is when you return and have to queue to get an exit ticket. There's always someone who hasn't got their paperwork and it's not good on a freezing May night! It would be better to get your exit ticket when you first park your car."June 2, 2007
"the car park ws easy to get to. The carpark was quite full and i had to drive around quite a while before I could find a space and walk some distance with my case to the airport bus stop. Coming back I had to wait quite a while for the bus to take me baack to the carpark. "For me this was excellent, this is exactly what I want what I park at airport. its simple. collect ticket, park car, get bus to airport, which are every 10 mins, when return validate ticket, which took 10 seconds outside airport, get bus back , drive off.
There's no ringing for buses, no going through paperwork for 30 mins , its brilliant"

I was uncertain of what to do when I arrived - did I have to book in - where could I park in car park 7 - how long would it take to park and get to the Check in?
It proved to be very straightforward. The bus to and from the carpark/airport was frequent and fast."
"Disappointed! Inspite of booking there was no room in Long Stay 7 (although various signs said there were!) and we had to go on to Intermiate stay with the agreement of the guy in the office. We will go back to Prestige as I only booked you by mistake to be honest. had the experience been good I might have been tempted by the slightly cheaper prices but not after the hassle!"May 30, 2007
