"Really close to the airport, didn't even bother getting the bus I just walked. Got a space just a few rows in. Validation when I returned - the desk was right by the exit and it only took seconds."

"Parking at Cardiff Airport was so easy. The long term car park is just outside the terminal building, within easy walking distance. Booking with BCP through the "Airport parking shop" saved us £8 on NCP prices."

"I found the car park difficult to find as the name on the online booking didn't coincide with the name on the gate and the road signs didn't refer to either so you just had to guess that they all belonged to the same outfit. Once in the car park there was no indication as to where there were still spaces other than driving around for ages until you struck lucky. Thankfully the shuttle bus driver came along and I asked him. He confirmed that we were in the correct car park and indicated where there was space easily available. He was very helpful and friendly and was by far the best part of the service both as we went away on our holiday and on our return. Now I know the situation I would use the service again and considered the price reasonable."

"Parking at Cardiff was not a problem when i found the enterance and my car was untouched. As my is disabled i found when i got to the airport because of security rightly so we counld`nt get to close to the front of the airport, so i had to go through the car park and unload my wife, luckly i had my son with me to look after her and it was dry or she would have been soaked so i could park the car.Then i had to travel back around to the front of the airport to find that the long stay carpark prebooked was where i had just come from,so had to travel back. A few sighns around would have made life easier and i think someone needs to look at the unloadind of disabled people and there luggaged."

"Initially the huge size and uncontrolled parking by many people on any piece of ground available within the Car park was a problem. I had to tour the car park extensively to find a legal vacant place to park.
This was very time consuming and frustrating and led us to walk to the terminal building pulling our luggage as we were then short of time and had just missed the shuttle bus. Pavement repairs on the road into the terminal made this more difficult - so we started our vacation in a stressed condition!!.

On our return, booking in of our prepaid ticket was slow as several flights had arived together and there was only one operator on your desk.

When I was eventually attended by your operator on the desk he informed he required not only the Car park ticket but also the confirmation receipt stating that I had prepaid my ticket; this was locked in my main luggage as I did not realise that it would be required. This of course led to me leaving the desk to retreive the receipt from my case and then re-queing again(and I thought that pre paying the ticket was a fast track through the system ha!). So I am not impressed by your service which is no less expensive than many others and less well organised."

"Two points to make

1. For clients who have pre-paid, entering the car park is confusing as its not clear what has to be done at that stage. It was not just me who was confused. The entrance was clogged with vehicles trying to reverse and drivers on foot looking around for help. Wht not put up a sign?

2. There were very few parking spaces. Spent best part of half an hour trying to park. Some assisance in being directed to vacant sites would have been helpful."

"Ihave used the car park on a number of occassions and have been completley satisfied. However on my return to cardiff last night when I went to the desk to have my ticket updated so I could leave the carpark two staff were behind the desk and one was serving, the other man was not and satlooking at me for at least 3 minutes before he decided to assist me, he was not completing any other tasks"

"The Parking provided by you was fine. I was unhappy with the airport security arrangements that did not adequately
explain that after dropping off bags and passengers I could then exit the 'drop off' area and enter the long term parking area next door.

Also, it was very inconvenient upon our return having to walk with our bags to our car (in the rain) rather than being able to collect the car first and then pick-up bags and passengers closer to the airport. I would like to suggest that upon collecting a car from the long-term car park that it should be possible to drive immediately into the 'drop off' car park so that bags and passengers can be collected there. I use your car parking facility about 6 times a year for two week durations and this is the first time that the airport security system has made things unnecessarily difficult for passengers.

"On reaching the airport the signage was not that clear, long stay and long stay pre-paid were signed separately but on arrival appeared to be the same, confusing for a lone female driver! Convenient for the departure door. The member of staff was efficient but after visiting Canada not so customer friendly."

"Extremely full when we went to park; no indication of where there was available space. Poor direction arrows in car park; tatty bus stop signage. Absolutely no 'Way Out' sdigns to find the exit on your return - wouldn't like to get out on a dark rainy night! Bus service excellent however with a very helpful bus driver."

"On arriving at the airport at 03.30 in the morning we were told we would have to use THE overflow car park and given directions. the area we parked on was just loose stones (scalpings)with holes and trip hazards everywhere, as you can imagine going over rough ground on a dark morning at 3.30 am was not easy pulling 2 wheeled suitcases,the shuttle bus was ok on the outbound journey.
On the return journey no one seemed to knowwhere the bus for the overflow carpark picked up from, there was a sign that pointed in the direction of the overflow carpark but in the opposite direction to where the bus picked up from, when we found the correct bus pick up point we asked the driver was this the bus for the overflow car park, and were asked which one there are 3 of them,doh!!.
I think in future we will not use Cardiff airport unless we have to, not a good experience."

"we found the entrance to the car park a bit confusing and without realising, went into the overflow car park, improved signage would help in future. Also queues to get out, with all traffic needing to merge into one way traffic having to access the roundabout to double back on ourselves. seperate exit to avoid this would help."

"When we arrived at Cardiff Airport, the long stay car park we had booked was full and we were directed to an overflow car park. The bus service to the airport was good and we didn't wait long. When we arrived back in Cardiff, again the bus was very quick and we didn't wait for long. However, when we returned to our car, there was no security and no-one checked our ticket. Anyone could have driven our car out of the car park without being stopped."

"This is a well signposted and easy to use service. Directions given on E mail made it all the more easier. Makes for a good holiday when at the start there is no hassle

"Buying the booking was easy and simple.
The car park was very full with no help to find a space but eventually I found one. The bus arrived promptly.
On return I got on the only airport parking bus at the stop and then found, only after I asked the driver, that it would have gone to the wrong carpark. The buses need to be more clearly marked for tired passengers."

"we found the long term car park very hard to find there are bollards all over the place, we traveled the whole of south africa and got lost in cardiff airport?? when we arrived back we went to desk as sdvised, the disk we were given would not allow us out we had to return to the dest twice before we could leave, we could have done with out that at the end of a holl we just wanted to get home"

"As i was travelling with my elderly parents ,the transport from the car park to the terminal was totally unsuitable as it was difficult to get our bags on and off. Also when we came back the area where we were droped off was uneven and my mother fell badly and we had to take her to the hospital to be checked over.I feel that you should make the transport more assessible and the drop off area safe. We did report the incident and it was witnesed by the driver of the bus."

"Booking very easy.
Airport car parks a bit bewildering with so many marked as 'overflow'. However, rows clearly marked (and easy to find our car afterwards.)
Shuttle bus good - perhaps more luggage space needed - get rid of the folddown seats.
Need better indication BEFORE flying of where to get your ticket validated on return.
Post-flight service excellent and shuttle available within minutes."

"Very busy car park on arrival to airport. Lots of cars parked on the grass verges around the car park. Drove around for 30mins before finding a space.

When returning there were no signs saying that pre-pay customers have to check at the NCP helpdesk. Huge queue of people at the ticket machine. Few simple signs would have prevented this."

"I/M STILL WAITING FOR THE AIRPORT SHUTTLE BUS, WE ARRIVED IN CARDIEFF @ 7.10 AM WAITED FOR 30 MIN @ THE BUS STOP OUTSIDE DEPARTURES I,M STILL WAITING . MY WIFE AND I HAD TO WALK TO THE FAR END OF THE CAR PARK AFTER A 9HOUR FLIGHT , THERE WAS ALSO OTHER COUPLES WAITING FOR THE BUS . I WILL NOT BE USING YOU AGAIN"

"anightmare this time, although generally Cardiff is easy. We had to enter and exit the short term car park to reach the long term - had to get out to ask soeone how we exit without paying - then the only availability was an overflow carpark. Wait 20 minutes or walk - we walked. A long way!!"
