"i had no problem booking on line in fact it was very easy and getting to the terminal was fine.we landed back at 1oclock in the morning and found that there was only one bus running which was full up so we had to wait twenty minutes in the rain.i felt there should have been two buses running."

"The booking process was smooth and we received our reference number. However, as this was our honeymoon and we had a few other things to focus on we left our reference number at home.

On returning to Cardiff Airport we explained the situation to the gentlemen on the NCP Car Parking desk who was incredibly unhelpful and put me on the telephone to NCP customer services. They could not trace the booking, however did mention that if it was through BCP there was a seperate number. I rang BCP and the gave me the reference number straight away. This enabled the man at Cardiff Airport to validate my card.

BCP = excellent service
Cardiff Airport NCP rep = very unhelpful and was quite happy for us to spend 30 - 40 minutes trying to sort it out ourselves whilst if was prepared to use his iniative could have solved our problem straight away."

"Husband dropped me off at the terminal with all the cases and bags and proceeded to the long stay car park. He was told by the attendant that the car park was full, although because we had booked on showing our reference number he was able to enter (don't know were we would have parked otherwise) Parked in the V section - quite a walk to the terminal as the shuttle bus wasn't running, strange as it was only 10.30 in the morning, and thank goodness he had dropped me with the cases at the terminal or we would have had to lug them over. Perhaps they don't run the shuttle bus when the car park is full? No problems on returning, shuttle bus took us and our cases back to V Secion."

"Cardiff airport is the closest to our home. It is not always the cheapest to fly from, however it was on this occasaion. I then looked at airport parking and found this to be the cheapest. The car park is situated very close to the airport, well within two minutes of departures. Having collected our baggage, exiting the car-park was first class. Will definitely do again"

"On the return trip there was no sign of a shuttle bus which meant that we had to walk to the car park in the rain. It wasn't much of a saving considering we had booked in advance and were a bit further out from the normal long stay car park. The ground was also muddy because of the rain."

"The car park was full as was the overflow car park so i had to squeeze in at a grass verge/hedgerow as did many others.A larger car park is needed.
Furthermore it was very expensive, we were told by other holiday makers what they had paid and Cardiff On parking is very expensive."

"Parking fine, although needed to ask guard to move bollard to let me in to the car park. Visibility of the reception area for pre pay pay point in arrivals hall could be seriously improved. Walked past it and out into departures to ask and then went back in to confirm validation of ticket. Signpoting should be much clearer or preferably move the desk facing you."

"I didn't have a good experience. Despite the fact that I took my holiday in June - not yet high season, and with the school holidays still weeks away, I had great difficulty in finding a parking space. Eventually I found one in the overflow car-park - but even the overflow was over-flowing. Given that I had booked in advance and was paying over thirty pounds for four and a bit days, this was aggravating.
When I arrived back, leaving the airport at about a half past midnight, I found my car had been boxed in by someone who hadn't been as lucky as me in finding a space. By a miracle, the car parked next to mine belonged to people on the same flight as me. They turned up and drove away, leaving enough space on my side to enable me to turn and get out. I went back to the NCP desk in the arrivals hall to complain. The staff were sympathetic, and said that had I not manged to get out they would have had the illegally parked car towed away to enable me to leave. This was cold comfort. By now it was well after one am, and I doubted there would have been space to tow the offending car, had mine still been in situ. This was all very offputting. I need my car for my work - and had work booked for the following day. The prospect of being without my car, the expense of a taxi in the middle of the night to get home and car hie in order to be able to work was really alarming.
Airport parking is very expensive. At the very least one should be guarenteed a parking space, having booked in advance. Cardiff Wales airport is in the middle of the countryside - so no difficulty in finding space for extra car parks. This situation is unacceptable.
The best i can say is that the NCP staff were pleasant and helpful. I didn't want to have to find that out."

"When I booked the parking service on the internet I found the parking instructions quite clear and concise which enabled me to park and collect my vehcile with great ease. It was a plus that the parking area was so close to the Airport that one could walk to and from the parking area easily without having to use the transport which was evident on the days I used the parking area."

"Parking was ok, bit confusing as i had pre-booked but didn't know which car park it was. there wasn't enough info given about the bus service so we ended up walking halfway up before the bus picked us up, our fault i know but then when we returned. we sorted the ticket out fine but didn't know where to get the shuttle bus back to the car. other than that it was fine. would use it again i know better now.....lol just give ppl a little bit more info please."

"We used the on airport parking at Cardiff Airport for a weekend trip away. On return it was not clear where to get the coach to the long-term car park and we ended up walking to our car. Fortunately, it is quite close, so that wasn't a problem. As we attempted to leave the car park we put our ticket from the NCP office into the machine, which then asked us to put it in again. The ticket was still in the machine and this was just about to cause us a problem, when a car park attendant came over, opened the machine and let us out. So it worked out fine, but it was a close one."

"Coulnn't fault it.

Tom Tom postcode took us straight to where we needed to be.

Car park literally a minutes walk to airport.

Didn't have to hand in car keys so no risk of car being used or moved while we were away.

Very quick procedure on return - just handed in ticket and confirmation and we were on our way.
10 out of 10.

"it was a horrible experience. I had to park the car 10 minutes walk from the terminal. I would have preffered to park somewhere outside and then get transported in courtsey van.
secondly it was so full that I had to revolve around several times before I was able to find a space.
would not use it again."

"Car Parking worked well, price was good - my only reservation was that there were no instructions about where to park on the day. Since I booked it with BCP, I didn't realise that I was to park it in the NCP car park, or that I had to validate the ticket at the desk when I returned from the airport - more information would have been useful about this on the website"

"Having taken the trouble and time to travel dowm earlier in the day to find out how the system worked we were dismayed to find at 3.30 in the morning that my wife was not allowed to park her car in the nearest car park as it was "full". The guys wanted her to travel on her own to a further car park and get a bus back which sensibly she did not do. She drove past them found a space and walked back to me. On returning I found I had mislaid my reference number although I had my parking ticket. The chap on the desk was most nervy and unhelpful and although he found my car Reg and my address would not give me an exit ticket. I had to pay again (£47) and was told to call back with the reference when I had it. I did this today to be told I shouldn't have returned but should have written in! However I spoke to the manager who was far more sensible and cancelled the charge. Oh and someone who travelled with us had their car tampered with but when reported to the same chap that dealt with me was met with "What do you expect me to do about it". All in all not a pleasant experience and one I will not be repeating."

"Booking online is very easy, very cheap and all communication is good.

All information needed at carpark is given and makes for an easy visit !

Carpark is walking distance to the terminal and there is also a shuttle bus if you ish to wait a few minutes.

"Very close to terminal building and well-served by courtesy bus. (This bus, incidentally, runs throughout the year and not just May - October as your website suggests). Slightly disappointing service on return from holiday as your staff member at the NCP desk at Cardiff was rather more concerned with ordering his lunch - first choice Coronation Chicken with mayo - than attending to a developing queue of customers!

All in all, though, parking in your facility at Cardiff Airport is a good experience."

"Fantastic service, easy to use. We arrived and had to be directed to an overflow car park. We were given a ticket by the attendant which we had to keep until our return, so I was a bit anxious about losing it! Arrived at Cardiff Airport around 1 in the morning and immediately caught the bus which took us to the car park. Didnt have to walk far to the car.

Overall a great service, cars are safe and you dont have to worry while you're on holiday, plus at only £15.00 for 4 nights its fantastic value. I had to pay £9 for just 2 hours in a high rise car park in cardiff! What a ripoff!!"

"not enough signs at the airport. BCP not signed at all only NCP. Had to park the car, enter the terminal to find the office to confirm that I was in the right car park with the NCP representative, who was very cooperative. Return leg, no problems, very good service, simple and effective. Pity the car parks are not signed accordingly. They are signed Long Term 1, Long Term 2, etc. No signs at all for BCP."
