"It really was very simple - I needed to fly to Cork for a 3 day business trip. By booking online I was able to reserve a parking place, turn up, park and take the courtesy bus to the terminal. On my return I was picked up by the courtesy bus, taken to the carpark and drove home. No frills just very quick and extremely easy."August 9, 2007
"I've used this site before, the quotes are very competitive if not the cheapest, also the convenience of parking on the airport with a free bus service, which you don't have to wait too long for. Also i don't like the idea of leaving my car in the hands of car park attendances that drive your car away and bring it back to you."August 8, 2007
"great worked well!"August 8, 2007
"Cardiff On Airport Parking was easy to find being well signposted . It is very close to the airport. Although very full we were able to find a parking space,(making note of the row number)in the overflow carpark and were quickly picked up by the free bus and taken directly to the departures entrance. We had prebooked our parking so we just had to collect a ticket on entering and have it validated at a convenient desk at the arrivals exit when leaving. The bus took us quickly back to the car. Cheap, convenient parking."August 8, 2007
"This was the worst experience of airport parking I have ever had. When we arrived the car park was chaotic, with no clear signs for areas where there might still be spaces. Most people were abandoning there cars on pavements and kerbs. We returned at about 11.00 p.m., so after dark, and found that exits were poorly signed. Never again."August 8, 2007
"Cardiff Airport car park was quite small and we were concerned about gettng a space, but we had no problems. We were able to walk to the terminal building as it was located acroos from the car park."August 8, 2007
"Very, very close to Terminal, so you can walk easily if no bus. Ticket given at car park gate and validated right by arrivals on your return. Quick, quick, quick. Easy, easy, easy. On road 20 minutes after plane touched down!"August 8, 2007
"Fantastic position, but especially with the tightened security restrictions there are not enough busses to service the car park. The largest part of the car park is relatively rough (for pulling suitcases along) We arrived at the car park at 16:45 and wheeled our cases all the way from the overflow without seeing a bus."August 8, 2007
"I have used your service several times over the last couple of years and have found your service excellent.
Unfortunately due to the upgrade of security it did leave me a little confused as we had to enter through the Short Stay, go out of the Car Park and in to the Long Stay. That aside the safety for everyone is paramount so it did not cause too much of a problem.
I will most probably be using your Car Parking facilities again in November when I go to Spain. I have kept your web page on my favourites to enable ease of booking. Once again I cannot fault you service."
"car park is easy to find. Shame the carpark directly in front of the airport cant be used. The carpark i did use was extremely full yet never really far from the airport. i had an online booking which was much cheapr than paying on arrival. little confusing about paying upon return from my destination as there is a office in the car park but i had to go back to the arrivals desk to oganise my car park card. other than that everything was ok. car was undamaged and within walking distance of the airport even though there is a bus service to pick and drop you off at the airport."August 7, 2007
"Main car park was full when arriving at Airport. Car park assistant directed me to overflow carpark and explained what to do. Bus was waiting to take me to terminal and on return bus was waiting to return me to my car. Excellent service and would definitely use again."August 6, 2007
"The parking procedure at Cardiff was easy and it was definitely better to use the on-site parking area. The parking situation has been affected post-Glasgow - due to the fact that the cases can not be dropped off prior to parking, but it is still a valuable service. However, you are still able to use the short-stay car park on the way to drop the cases off. Considering the security measures required and the very valid reasons for these measures, the experience is more than acceptable."August 6, 2007
"The main problem is that its a bit of a free for all, at busy periods cars tend to park anywhere, there should be numbered bays so when you book you get a bay allocated, those who just turn up should be directed to the overflow area."August 6, 2007
"Once inside the airport carpark there were inadequate directions. On the return journey we had to go back into arrivals to get a ticket as we were not given one on the way in and you cannot get out of the airport without one."August 5, 2007
"Car park was full so we were moved to the overflow car park. bus service was quick and efficient, staff curteous and helpful."August 5, 2007
Cardiff airport parking is good in that it is close to terminal. However on returning there is inadequate sineage directing passengers to bus stops for cars. we were parked in the 'spill over' car park well away from terminal . When the bus did eventaully arrive, having gleaned the information on where to catch it from other passengers!,the driver obviously found it tedious to answer passenger questions. The parking itself is very convenient, the service not so. Very different to Bristol airport with plenty of buses and friendly, helpful drivers!
"The instructions I was sent by e-mail were totally wrong, the sign posting to the car park took me to a closed or full car park, I then had to turn round and find the un-signed overflow parking area which turned out to be a gravel covered piece of land with no shelter from the rain whilst you wait for the bus. On my return the way out was blocked by a traffic cone and the other direction was blocked by other parked cars. All together it is the worst airport car park I have ever used."August 5, 2007
"Easy to follow instructions and parked 150m from airport terminal entrance. Ticket validated on return in Arrival Hall.Drove away 50 mins after landing. Easy, simple and cheap."August 3, 2007
"Efficient service. Bus to terminal was very prompt; Staff were courteous and had a sense of humour; Most impressive was the bus, on our return journey, took us direct to the car. We were the only 2 passengers onboard. He did not make us wait until the bus filled up. Will use again. Difficult to find the entrance but this was due on new security measures."August 3, 2007
"Convenient for Terminal building, well sign posted for directions entering and leaving the car park."August 1, 2007
"We had to park in the overflow carpark which was very full and ended up parking out of a bay which was not ideal. However this was ok.
What was very poor was the bus service, there was no information and it seemed that the bus just turned up when it fancied. We therefore had to walk with luggage to the terminal. On our return there was a bus waiting, but he refused to take us as he was waiting for another one to turn up. We were told this could be anytime in the next 30 mins as the other bus was somewhere in the car parks, this was pretty disgusting really."
"The parking location was conveneient. i find the need to report to the desk on return much less conveneient than using your credit card to access and leave the car park as applies at other airports.
On this occasion my validated ticket would not work at barrier and i had to seek help although this was quickly resolved."
"On arriving my wife had to park at the far end of the carpark and waited for a bus, in the end she walked to the terminal. On our return flight i accompanied my wife, we had a case each and golf clubs. As we were dragging our cases to the bus stop,we could see there was a bus, so we speeded up and he just took off with noone in the bus. we then had to wait more than 15 minutes before it returned with still nobody on the bus. I asked the driver how often they go around, he said it varies. When i booked on line it said that there would be a bus every 2 minutes. The driver was very off-handed and not very helpful. The service we had was not good."July 27, 2007
"Shame it was raining and i had a long walk, but the easiness of the parking and the straight forward parking routine was great and i will use it again."July 27, 2007
"The car park is within easy walking distance from the airport terminal. and the desk for getting your ticket to
leave carpark is in the arrivals after you pass through customs, if you miss it there is a sign telling you that you have and its behined you. Only problem that we had was they were still trying to put barriers up and new signs because of security issues, though when we returned
these seemed to be almost compleated ."
"Easy to book, easy to find,no hassle there is a bus if you need it,but it is so close to the airport it aint worth the hassle of waiting to get on with your luggage, then off in a couple of minutes.I would say to anyone use this carpark with confidence."July 26, 2007
"Very Good near the terminal plenty of space bus on hand etc and drop off facility ok"July 26, 2007
"I THINK THAT YOU SHOULD HAVE A SIGN INDICATING WHERE YOUR OFFICE IS. IT IS OUT OF SIGHT OF YOUR VISION AS YOU LEAVE THE ARRIVAL CORRIDOR AND CAN ONLY BE SEEN WHEN YOU TURN AROUND AT THE EXIT."July 25, 2007
Not having used Cardiff parking before I found it very easy to find, a little bit full but fortunatly we eventualy found a parking spot fairly close to the airport terminal. The weather on Friday was atrocious but we managad without the bus which was going round on a very regular interval. If I fly again from Cardiff witch there is a good possibility (we live in Aberystwyth, mid wales three hours away) and I am driving I will certainly use the same car park. Hassle free which is what you want before going away."
"Ouer experience of parking with Cardiff Wales Airport clearly began with the online booking which was both easily and speedily completed and had offered the opportunity of comparing different options.
On approaching Cardiff Airport from the Barry side I do feel that the signposting of the long term parking could have been more prominent and clearer. We found ourselves going twice around a traffic island and then going a little astray before eventually being correctly directed by airport staff.
The long term carpark was quite full and evidence of parking outside bays was evident - however we found a space without too much difficulty and luckily within a few minutes a passanger bus came within 50 yards of where we were parked and very conveniently took us to the terminal. We were in the terminal within 15 minutes of approaching the airport which was excellent.
Arriving back from holiday at the airport the service at the parking office to confirm our pre booking was efficient. We had not remembered to note down which row we were parked in but remembered the general area and again found our car with trolly full of luggade without real difficulty and were soon on our way.
Overall I would recommend the sdervice and especially the pre-booking which turned out very well."
