Irish airports Shannon and Dublin are both facing big increases in traffic next year, with Ryanair wanting to increase passengers through Shannon by 18% for next Summer as well as increasing the destinations that you can fly to. It’s also exciting news for Aer Lingus who have acquired the use of an Airbus A330-200 from May 2015, which will enable new routes as well as a greater frequency of trips for some popular routes such as Dublin to Orlando.
With such great things happening for these Irish airports, it’s about time that we welcomed Dublin Airport and Shannon Airport to the Airport Parking Shop family! These are the first Irish airports to make it onto our growing list of airports and we are really excited about it! Now it will be even easier to save money on your parking.
Now that you’ve got the parking sorted, the most important question is: where to?!
The mornings are frosty, the evenings are drawing in, shorts and t-shirts have been consigned to the wardrobe for another year… well, not quite yet! Flying from Dublin with Ryanair, in just 3 hours you can arrive in the popular Winter sun destination of Faro, Portugal, so you can really escape the plummeting temperatures.

Airport Parking Shop is an established online comparison website that’s just celebrated its 11th year. Over the past few years we have watched as mobile (and tablet) usage has soared from just 8% of our traffic in October 2011 to 44% in October 2014. We couldn’t ignore this trend and so earlier this year we took the plunge and completely rebuilt our site with a mobile friendly responsive design.
Despite now having a very functional and mobile optimised site, with mobile use set to exceed 50% in the next few months, the next logical step was to offer our mobile users a more native experience so we decided build a dedicated app for both Android and iOS.

Still buzzing from all the excitement of our last challenge of building a responsive website, the team here at Airport Parking Shop decided to make things for UK travellers even easier. Our mobile app – Airport Parking Shop mobile app – was launched in October, making it a useful addition to the apps developed here at Fubra Ltd.
The app is free to download from App Store and Google play and was developed in preparation for the inevitable change: we forecast that by January 2015 more than half of the visitors to Airport Parking Shop will be accessing it on a tablet or smartphone. Read More

As we celebrate the 11th anniversary of the launch of Airport Parking Shop, we look back at the significant changes that have taken place in its 11th year.
It all began in 2003, the year when the music charts were dominated by the now-classic “In da Club” by 50 Cent and fashion boomed with fedora hats and popped collars. This was the year Airport Parking Shop was first launched, as one of the pioneers of the upcoming trend of comparing… pretty much everything.
Little did we know that 11 years later we would still be enjoying doing what we know best: getting the best airport parking deals for our users.

You have to love the city that names its airport after its greatest footballer; and it was only a matter of time for this airport to be added to our airport parking comparison engine.
As of August 2014, people flying from George Best Belfast City Airport can compare prices, car park details and availability, view parking providers offering spaces at this airport and proceed to book online.
By adding George Best Belfast City Airport we have reached a total of 30 UK airports travellers can compare parking at. If you have parked at this airport before, we’d love to hear your feedback – you can submit your car park review here.
