Car park is on airport and the transfer takes about 10-15 minutes.

Directions

Leave the M11 at junction 8 if you are travelling southbound, and junction 8a if you are travelling northbound. At the motorway roundabout, follow the signs for Stansted airport. At the next roundabout go straight on, following the signs for the Long Stay car park. Go straight on at the next roundabout. You will pass the Hilton on your left. Take the next left into the car park.

Transfers from airport

Transfers between Stansted Long Stay and the terminal are included in the price of your package. They run 24 hours a day every 20 minutes and take approximately 10 to 15 minutes.

You should allow 45 minutes to check into the car park, park and transfer to the terminal.

Arrival procedure

The car park has automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) - so make sure you give us the correct car registration number when you book.

Please take a copy of your booking confirmation to the car park with you.
The entry barrier will lift automatically when it recognises your number plate, and will give you a ticket with your booking reference printed on it - keep this ticket. Then all you need to do is park your car and wait at the bus stop for the shuttle bus to the terminal.

The machine should take no more than about 15 seconds to recognise your number plate and give you a ticket. If this doesn't happen, just press the help button.

Departure procedure

Your booking reference should be printed on the ticket you were given when you arrived at the car park, above the barcode, so you just need to drive to the exit barrier and put your ticket in the slot.

If your ticket doesn't have your booking reference on, you'll need to find a member of staff and show them your ticket and your booking confirmation so they can let you out - or press the 'call' button on the exit barrier.

Security

Long Stay Stansted is fully secured and has CCTV, security fencing and lighting at night. It is manned 24 hours a day and there are regular site patrols. Long Stay Stansted has also been awarded the Park Mark, a national security award accredited by the Association of Chief Police Officers.

Insurance

Offers free cover for damage resulting from any act or omission on the part of its servants or agents. Parking is at vehicle owners' own risk.

Disabled facilities

Parking bays for Blue Badge holders are in zone Q. Use the help points at the bus stops to request a pick-up when you want to transfer to the terminal. The courtesy coaches are wheelchair accessible.

Additional information

Each transfer bus only goes to one area of the car park - red, yellow or blue - so make sure you get on the right bus. The bus stops outside the terminal are colour-coded, as are the car park tickets.

Parking charges are calculated in blocks of 24 hours, starting from the time you arrive at the car park.
If you need any extra days' parking, the car park will charge you for the extra days at its normal rate. If you don't use all your parking, unfortunately we can't give you a refund for the unused days.

You need to give us your car registration number either when you book, or sometime before you go. It needs to be the right one - if you change the car you're going to be travelling in, you need to give us the new details. You must do this, or the car park will charge you £10 when you leave, because if they don't have the right registration number, it holds things up when you arrive and leave.
