Directions to Luton Airport:
To and From the East and A1 - Access to London Luton Airport from the East and A1 is via the A505 dual carriageway through Hitchin. The airport lies just off the A505 and is clearly signposted.

To and From the M25 - Access to London Luton Airport from the West is possible through several routes. If approaching via Dunstable, follow the airport signs. Alternative approaches include travelling via M40/M25 to join the M1 and then exit via Junction 10. Exit the M25 at Junction 21 for the access to the M1.

To and From the M1 - London Luton Airport is only 30 minutes from North London, 15 minutes from the M25 and 5 minutes from the M1. The airport is just two miles from the M1 motorway. Exit the M1 at Junction 10. The route to the airport is clearly signposted.

Leave the M1 at junction 10. At the large motorway roundabout, take the third exit if you're coming from the south and the first exit if you're coming from the north onto the A1081 Airport Way
Shortly after, you'll come to a roundabout and you'll need to take the second exit and keep on the A1081. You'll need to take the slip road on the left to keep on the correct road. After a while, you'll arrive at yet another roundabout and you'll need to take the third exit and keep on Airport Way.

Arrival procedure

Call their team of chauffeurs around 20 minutes before you arrive at Luton airport using the contact number on your confirmation.

Follow the signs for Terminal Car Park 1, (the multi-storey). Continue to Level 3 of the Car Park (Terminal Car Park 1) to the Off-site Meet and Greet area. You'll need to press for a ticket at the barrier. Hand your ticket to the Swift Meet and Greet driver, as well as your keys. They'll move your car to a secured car park. Then head to the terminal, which is about a 7-minute walk.

Please be aware the Multi-Storey Car Park has a height restriction of 2.1 metres.

Return procedure

On your return, while you're waiting for your luggage, you should call Swift on the number on your confirmation. Your driver will bring your car back to the Terminal Car Park 1 to meet you when you get there. If you come back any later than planned, you'll need to pay your driver for the extra time when you get back. The car park will cover your exit fees for up to 15 minutes. If the driver has to wait longer than 15 minutes you will need to pay £7 to exit the car park, and this will continue to increase the longer the driver has to wait. It's just how much the airport charge.

Security

The car park has been awarded the Park Mark security award. It's patrolled by security staff 24 hours a day and CCTV is in use, as well as entry and exit barriers, a fence and floodlighting.

Disabled facilities

Due to the current airport refurbishment, the ground around the car park is uneven, so this may not be the best option for customers with mobility issues.

If your return is delayed and you park for longer than you have booked, extra days parking will be charged at £15 per day or part day after your booked return date.

No vehicles over 3.5 tonne or black taxis. Also, trailers are not allowed into the car park.

Cars will be moved to the storage compound as soon as is practicable. The maximum distance travelled is 10 miles. On occasion your vehicle may be moved to a different compound when operationally necessary. The car will be checked for damage upon arrival but please note that the company does not record minor damage i.e. stone chips, scuffs, scratches of less than 6 inches, dents smaller than a 3 inch diameter or interior damage.

Important

Luton Airport are undergoing a significant redevelopment to the terminal building and concourse and as a result there may be a delay accessing the airport, especially during peak times. Please allow extra time for your driver to meet you.

We'd recommend you allow an extra hour to get to the airport particularly at peak times. Peak travel times for Luton airport are all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday and between 4am and 9am, 1pm and 3pm and 5pm and 7pm on other days.

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!! So disgraceful!!! When we came to pick up the car there were so many scratches to the car like it was parked in the bushes. The door car has big scratch from hitting when you open the door. On the day of arrival we made them take the picture themself to compare and been told to call customer services. Tried the whole week for that, all been though to voice mail. The staffs are so impolite, they hang up before you can finish explaining . When you try to ask them to resolve the problem, all they say is they will send you email, and that the scratches has already been there. But I can assure it was not there, because I took the picture myself as well before leaving the car with them. So I can clearly see it was not there!!! NO HELP AT ALL TO SOLVE THE MATTER! AVOID THIS PARKING!!! IT WAS MY FIRST TIME. NEVER AGAIN!!!

The mini bus drops u all the way at furthest possible drop off and smallest bus, too small for number of users. On our return the driver kicked us off with two small children only on the basis that we didn’t have big luggage and he wasn’t going to take out the large luggages from the back, disregarding any fact that we were queueing and we were one of the earlier arrivals at bus stop. Other passengers pretended not to notice and avoided eye contact as we collected all our small bits plus the kids to get off. Second bus arrived fifteen min but wouldn’t move until the bus was full so another fifteen pointless minutes at the drop off point, all in all the worst of human nature on both users and service provider. Not worth it. Don’t use them.

Used Swift Park Meet and Greet twice from Luton in just under a month cannot fault the service it worked for me, no hanging about and the second time I took advantage of the valet service on a large dirty Ford Ranger, they did a great job. Friendly staff to meet and greet you. I would definitely use again, keep up the good work.

On entering the area for meet and greet we unknowingly went through the barrier which charges £1 per minute. There was no clear signs saying we should stay to the left. The Swift parking attendant laughed and said everyone gets caught out like that but don’t worry it will be fine he said. This isn’t Swifts fault, rather an issue with Luton Airport. Anyway, the process of dropping off the car, apart from the worry bead about the initial ticket which required our bank card details at the barrier, we thought went well. On our return from our holiday we hoped the process would be quick and smooth as it has been with other companies. We called after we got our luggage and were told it would be 15mins max before our car arrived at the designated spot. By the time we got to the agreed place we waited, waited, waited and waited. We asked the attendant at the desk where our car was and he said any minute now and it will be with you. We continued waiting. It was now 30mins after we’d arrived to get the car. We asked again and were told the guy with our car had gone on a Tea Break!!! So why did he say he’d be 15mins? By the time the car arrived it was nearly a 50minute wait! We could have caught the bus and gone to the offsite car par in quicker time at a lesser cost. The attendant in a surly way, thrust our car keys at us and said Bye in a cross voice when my husband said he was disappointed with the service. We won’t be using them again! If they’d been honest and said the driver needed a break when we first called them, we’d have gone and had a bite to eat in the airport. Poor Customer Service and very disappointing!
