Directions
The best way to get to Luton airport is from junction 10 of the M1. Travellers coming from the south can access the M1 via the M25.
Directions from the M1:
Leave the motorway at junction 10, following signs for the airport, and take the A1081, Airport Way. At the first roundabout, the Kidney Wood roundabout, take the second exit, staying on the A1081 Airport Way. At the next roundabout go straight across onto the A505. Go straight on over the railway bridge. At the next roundabout, the airport roundabout, take the third exit and bear right. When you come to a smaller roundabout, turn left and follow the pink signs for long term parking.
The postcode is LU2 9LY.
There are roadworks on the M1 from junction 10 to junction 13 for the rest of the year, so we advise you to leave extra time for your journey to the airport. More detailed information is available on the Highways Agency website.

Arrival procedure
Please check your booking confirmation for details.
The car park has an automatic number plate recognition system, so make sure you enter your car registration number correctly when you make your booking. We recommend that you bring a copy of your booking confirmation with you.
Drive up to the entry barrier and press for a ticket. Your car registration number and booking reference number will be printed on your ticket. Follow the signs to the nearest available space. Make a note of where you have parked and make your way to the nearest bus stop.
If the barrier does not recognise your vehicle registration number, please take a ticket and park in the nearest available space.
Departure procedure
Please check your booking confirmation for details.
If your entry ticket does not have your booking reference number printed on it, press the intercom and staff will help you. Please explain that you have pre-booked and quote your booking reference number or booking confirmation.
If your booking reference is shown on your entry ticket, please collect your car and drive to the exit barrier. The barrier should lift automatically to let you out. If it doesn't, or the machine shows a price, press the intercom and staff will help you.
If you have parked for longer than you booked, you will need to pay the extra before you go. The machine will show the amount in the exit column - you can pay by credit or debit card.
