Increasing problems with congestion are being reported at Luton airport, and the airport is advising passengers to make sure they arrive with ample time to spare before their flight to avoid the risk of missing it.

The official recommendation is to arrive three hours before a long-haul flight, two hours before a European flight and 90 minutes before a domestic flight.

At the roundabout at the entrance to the airport, take the third exit and follow the signs for the Short Term car park. At the roundabout outside the terminal, take the last exit into the car park.

Head towards short term car park, go through ticket barrier. On the right is the designated off airport meet & greet area right next to the pay point station.

Call 30 minutes prior to arrival at the car park on 01582 728585 or 07968 550863 where you will be met by a chauffeur at the terminal. Head towards Short Term car park, go through ticket barrier. On the right is the designated off airport meet & greet area right next to the pay point station.

Return procedure

Please check your booking confirmation for details.

On return please call 01582 728585 or 07968 550863 and your vehicle will be returned to you in the Short Term Car Park by the Pay station. Please have £1 to release your car from the car park.

Security

Your car will be parked for the duration of your trip in a monitored and perimeter fenced car park.

Disabled facilities

This type of service is ideal for the disabled passenger as you do not need a shuttle bus.

Additional information

You will be required to leave your keys. The car will be parked approx 5 - 10 minutes from the airport for the duration of your stay.

Vehicles that are larger or longer than a transit van or people carrier cannot park in this car park.

During busy times i.e. 04:00 - 09:00 and 16:30- 18:30 please allow extra time for your journey.

Minimum stays and charges may apply at this car park at certain times of the year.

Important

Customers have to pay £1 to get out of the Short Stay car park when they pick their car up - £4.50 if their car's there for more than 15 minutes. For this reason, it's paramount that you don't call the car park when you return until you're ready, or very nearly ready, to pick up your car.
