We arrived at Blackpool airport mid afternoon on Sat 3 May and had to drive round a bit to find a parking spot which was a bit worrying. On our return we had our card authorised and were told to insert it at the barrier on exit. We followed a line of cars out but didn't come across a barrier and found ourselves out on the main road. I am not complaining but wonder if this might be a loophole for cars to park without paying. (We had already prebooked and paid via the internet). On the whole our experience at Blackpool airport was a pleasant one. We usually depart from Manchester but found Blackpool to be fine with a quick check in and out, rather reminiscent of Liverpool. It was worth the extra hour's drive.
