Blackpool has long been famous as a popular British tourist destination. The Victorian Blackpool tower, the 5 mile long illuminations and the Pleasure Beach funfair draw many visitors to this west coast resort. If you are not admiring the lights or riding on the Pleasure Beach roller coasters you can try your luck in the Golden Mile slot machines or visit the Sea Life centre along the promenade.

Away from the beach the city offers a great selection of shops, cafes and restaurants and Blackpool comes alive at night with pubs, bars, clubs and shows.

There is also the airport at Blackpool offering flights to many British cities and Manchester's International airport is just over an hour away.
